Hard Rock Rates higher then PBH?!

Just called to check rates for an October '07 rate at HRH. Anniversary trip--and my husband's fav--rate not withstanding is HRH. Anyway--the rate for a standard room at PBH is (AAA) $239.20 and the (AAA) rate for HRH for a gardenview is $242.10! Not enough of a difference to change hotels, but I usually depend on HRH being about $20 less per night then PBH. With Plat upgrade I will get a King Suite at HRH, but still...more then PBH where I could get a Portofino Suite with 2 bathrooms... :confused3

(BTW...RPR is $191.20 for a Plat upgrade to King suite for the same time period.)

I figured this would eventually happen.
The location of the HRH being a short 5 minute walk to USF is worth more than the bigger rooms at the PBH.
The PBH is becoming the fan favorite around here as the prices drop. In the past, it was priced much more. Now many are trying it, and are wowed by the larger room, and huge bathroom.

Labor Day we paid more for RPR than PBH. Only $.20, but more! At RPR we got a water view king suite and at PBH we got the beautiful bay view villa suite.
