Does anyone have the recipe for this? I had made it before, but can no longer find the recipe. The one that I am looking for, uses canned pumpkin.

Thankk you so much! I lost mine too, and today would be perfect to smell that baking in the house. It is cooling off up here in Pa and am going to take out the winter fall clothing! Perfect idea thank you!

Here is the recipe my mother gave me when I was 12. She makes about 40 loaves each Christmas for neighbors. It's the most requested thing she makes. I now make it for my neighbors, and I always have people asking for more!
Pumpkin Bread
4 C. sugar
4 C. pumpkin (1 large can)
1 C. oil
5 C. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 C. raisins (or chocolate chips)
1 C. nuts optional
Mix together the sugar, pumpkin and ol. Add the flour, baking soda, salt, spices, raisins and nuts. Grease 3 large loaf pans and fill half full with batter. Bake for 1 hour at 325-350 degrees. The loaves will rise.
You can use smaller loaf pans, but you'll need to adjust your cooking time.
