Cocoa beach info?

We are going to WDW Nov. 7-14 and would lake to take a day trip to Cocoa Beach (or somewhere else outside of WDW). How long does it take to get there from WDW? Is the drive easy? Is there enough to do around there that we could spend a day doing it? Also, will it be warm enough to swim? I would also appriciate any other suggestions for a day trip from WDW. Thanks

it's an easy drive, about an hour from WDW. take I-4 E to the Beachline (528) right into Cocoa Beach. it should be in the mid 70's to 80 in November, the surf temps are usually in the mid to upper 70's. I'm not a big fan of Cocoa Beach itself, but the town is nice.
