Delta Express

Does anyone know anything about the fate of Delta Express? MetroJet went under, will DLX do the same?

Aren't they different airlines? Delta-x is owned and operated by Delta Airlines.
Metro jet was having a LOT of problems long before Sept. It was no surprise that they went under. IMHO, there is no relationship between them going under and anyone else.

Well, I know that MetroJet was a low cost version of US Airways; but I was wondering if we were going to see all of these "low cost airlines to Florida" go under. :)

DLX is in a bit of chaos right now with huge flight reductions. Our 11/3 flight to Orlando got canceled, and we ended up on a different flight - no problem there. Our flight back yesterday was chaos. They had rebooked us leaving this morning through ATL, instead of our booked nonstop last night to BOS. After yelling a bit, I got them to put us on the oversold flight to Providence and pay for a ride up to BOS. We never got a phone call about the return flight changes, so be sure to call and reconfirm both legs of your trip!
