Boardwalk Villas SV in Early August?

We are planning a trip in early August 2007. We own at BCV but would like to try the Boardwalk. What are the chances of being able to get a standard view 1BR at the 7 month mark? Thanks!

2 years ago, I was able to be waitlisted for and did get a 2 bedroom SV at the BWV for the 3rd week of August. I actually did an add on and was using BWV points, but this was in March, so not in the owners time.

I think a 1 bedroom is doable for you if you call 7 months out.

lots of kids around here (south) have to be in school the first or second week of August - so these families are less likely to vacation during that time.

I'd say hit and miss or worse for early August, much better for later in August.

I think you will definitely have to at least use the waitlist to get a standard view.

Shouldn't be a problem to get a PV (Pool/Garden) at 7 months for early August - those cost the same as the BCV units.

This is 100% correct. The summer "high season" at WDW runs until mid August.

I got a standard view at BWV for the third week of June at 7 months out--loved it! :thumbsup2
