Using cabs in WDW

After seeing the great room rates and getting decent airfare, we decided to go to Disney for New Years. But we are looking at using a limo service and cabs to supplement the Disney buses. We are not staying over a Saturday night, so we're shut out of most rental car deals. We will be staying at ASMu 12/30-31, then PO-R 1/1-4. We are thinking of taking a cab to breakfast PS's or back to the hotel after Dinner PS's. However, I'm a girl from suburbia who needs some reassurance or just plain ol' info about using a taxi cab at Disney.:confused:

There are plenty of cabs serving Disney Resorts. If there isn't one waiting outside the main entrance of your resort, bell services will call for one.
