View Full Version : Share your "absolute do-not-miss-during-the-holidays" tips, please!

My husband, two kids (4 and 6) will be in WDW from December 16 through the 22. I have tickets to MVMCP and the Candlelight Processional... would love to know if there are other "can't miss" holiday events...!

OK I absolutely love the Osbourne Family Lights (which they are meant to be having this year)! They are fantastic. The one year we went they had a 3D light section where you could look through free 3D glasses and see flying angels! It is fab!

Also go and look around at least 1 disney hotel as the decorations are fab! Grand Floridian most years has a giant gingerbread house in its lobbey which kids love! Use the Disney transport from any park and go and be nosey.

I agree, do not miss the Osbourne Family Lights at MGM. If you have the time, check out the resorts, too. Wilderness Lodge is supposed to be great. Make sure you watch the parade at MVMCP, it is different from the one running during the day at the Magic Kingdom.

:love: I love going to Downtown Disney and listening to the carolers and the school groups that gather and sing holiday tunes! Get that hot chocolate and enjoy. Other than going to all the parks, I love to visit all the deluxe resorts at night to view the decorations and listen to the music.

Be sure to visit the different resorts on your trip. Well worth it IMHO!

Def. Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights in MGM... Its beautiful... They even have falling snow (not real snow, but you get the pic ;) )... Have a great time

I second the resort trip... another sneak peak - this is at the Beach Club. DD and I spent two afternoons this past winter break visiting the resorts to see the decorations - it had never even occured to do it the first two years we lived here - until I saw a Food Network special on Holidays at WDW! I plan on doing it this year while my mother is visiting.
