HI all! Thanks in advance to all the experts out there - your guidance is greatly appreciated :thumbsup2
Being a NON thrill rider... I know already that Kraken is a big no-no for me. What other rides would I want to avoid? Wild Arctic sounds like something I'd like to see, but I don't know if it's a flight simulator or what it is. Motion sickness is as much the problem as sheer fright. Can you help a chicken out?
Thanks!

Journey to Atlantis is about the same as Splash Mountain. Wild Arctic is a flight simulator similar to Star Tours. the closer you sit to the screen, the less motion sickness you'll get.

Wild Arctic also has a non-motion option for those with motion-illness issues. I'm not sure if you still see the movie, but it opens into the same arctic area as the "ride" does. You'll probably want to skip Kraken and Journey to Atlantis. Everything else at SW is shows.
MY BIL was with us and decided to be brave and do the "motion" ride part of Wild Arctic and I know he regretted it - he's always had motion illness.

Thanks so much for the info. I had not heard of the non-motion option for Wild Arctic. Someone said that Journey to Atlantis is about the same as Splash Mtn. I've done Splash Mtn and was ok... is it really no worse than that? The video on Seaworld's site makes the drop look a whole lot worse than Splash Mtn.

The non-motion Wild Arctic shows the same film as the motion version. You just sit on stationary seats. (If I recall correctly, bench seats).
There is also a passholders entrance to the exhibit area that bypasses the movie. I use this all the time. (I won't say where it's located in case that's not allowed on these boards).
As for Atlantis, it's not bad. Certainly no worse than Splash Mountain. However you can get very wet. If you want to keep as dry as possible, stay out of the front seat, especially the front right seat. (The wettest part comes where you least expect it!)

Passholder entrance? Tell me tell me. We just go in through the exit or we go in the non motion line and just walk in and out of the movie room without watching it. They don't mind because they know you just want to see the animals and not do the ride.

Shhh....
But as you approach the regular exit in the gift shop, look to your FAR left and you will see a set of doors labeled 'Passholder entrance'. Enter here and you go right to the Beluga whale tank.
