3 Days left of Summer Vacation Anyone?

It's always the first day of school where you don't get any homework? Or do you. The only time i've ever gotten homework on the first day of school was in English and Math.

Lucky. But that means that you only have 2 days of school before the weekend. We always start school the day after Labour Day where I live. I don't like it because than you start on the nigth that everything is on television. Than my parents start the "Your not going to goof off this year Melanie" act...

We always start after labour day as well.
The first two days of school are usually orientation (as in, this is your class, this is where things are, I expect this of you.. these are the rules..) and the rest of the week is tiny bits of homework in math on easy things (like multiplication) and little projects you do in French & English about what you did over summer vacation, or writing an autobiography to the teacher.

I start around the 8th. What's worse than having homework on the first day of school is having it over summer vacation. :guilty:
