My brownie troop would like to send a care package to some of our fighting men and women overseas.
I have asked DH, who happens to be in the Army, for an address for Any Soldier, but either he has had no luck finding one or is being very lazy.

The one I keep finding during internet searches is for actual website called Any Soldier and that seems to me like it is not legit. Maybe I am wrong, but it just seems like a commercial enterprise.

So, I know many of you have loved ones overseas. Can anybody help me out with an address to send our care package to?

Thanks

Have you tried this website? http://anysoldier.com
It's a legimate site. From there you would click on "Where to Send" and a big big list of people will pop up. You just pick the solider that you want to adopt. Thank you for what you do. I would give you my husband's name and address but he will be home very very soon. :cool1:

I love this site. It doesn't actually give you the name/adddress of a soldier, but you can have a package sent to a particular soldier if you know them, or let them pick one at random from someone who has no one. You can even choose which brance of service, female or male, or state if you want. Send a pre-made package or pick stuff separately.

I sent to a Marine from my state who was deployed due to the act of terrorism.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. We will get busy on this. Glad to know that the anysoldier site is legit.

It has actually been a rough week here, a neighbors son died while at boot camp (marines).
