I remember reading in the Vacation Magic a year or so ago, that there was a Towel Animal Class offered at the Beach Club Villas. Is it still offered? Does anyone remember this? Done the class?

Thanks.

We did the class at SSR, it was fun. They bring in a bunch of old washcloths and we made about 5 animals each and got to keep them. It took about 45 minutes.

Jennifer,

We are staying right next door at Old Key West, so it's not for to go for the class. Do you remember what day and time it was offered? What animals did you make?

Thanks.
Tina :)

The classes were offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 -1:30. We made an owl, penguin, frog, swan, fish, chick and swans. Maybe one or two others...it was fun. :goodvibes

Just came back from SSR. Kids had a good time making elephants with their towels.
Everybody has a great time at Community Hall. Check out their weekly schedule they distribute, or check out their chalkboards for date and times..

Is this something new at BCV? I've never heard of it.

Thanks, Jennifer!

From what Jennifer and I exchanged in our e-mails, they are doing this at Sarratoga Springs, now. I believe we DVC members are allowed to go, too. From what she was saying, the towel animals are made with folding, rubber bands, and stickers.

Check out Dave's site for more info and a brochure. Go under "Additional Info" and then "Start your lesson". The brochure is from a Royal Caribbean Cruise.

I can't wait to check this class out!

Thanks.

Anyone else thinking about Samantha Brown showing off her proudly-made egg roll? We definitely watch "Great Hotels" too much!
