There are 10 in our group (youngest 5) adults and kids. We would like to do miniature golfing one afternoon. Can anyone suggest Fantasia Gardens or do you recommend Winter Summerland course? I am not familiar with either one, other than reading discription on this site. We will be at WDW in late February, so weather will be a factor....but hopefully we will hit a nice weather week.
Thank you! :cool1:

We love the Mini Golf at WDW. We prefer Fantasia Gardens although it is not a easy course.

Fantasia Gardens seemed to be out in the sun and very hot. It was very fun, it was the first one we ever tried at Disney. We recently did the Winter Summerland. It was very easy - I got a lot of hole in ones!!! I'm pretty sure my DH4 (at that time) got one too. It has more shade. I loved the theme. I have a great picture of our DS sitting in a lounge chair in front of camper. It was so cute. I can't wait to go back next month!!!

P.S. Are we there yet?

We did the Fantasia course one time and it was really challenging. It's not Mini-golf they way you normally think of it...It's more like a miniaturized version of a real golf course. Really neat, but difficult.

I read somewhere that they learned from this and when they built Winter-Summerland they made it so it is difficult to NOT get a hole in one! (see prev. post). :thumbsup2

We have played both courses at Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. If you have kids with you I would highly consider Winter Summerland. We thought it was the best themed mini gold we have ever been to. The kids loved it and we will definately go back next year.

We love Winter Summerland. We took more pictures there than we did at some of the parks! The kids had a blast! :thumbsup2

We have done both - several times - the lastest being this past weekend.... Winter Summerland is definitely easier, and the themeing is a hoot! Fantasia Gardens is a bit more challenging, and as someone else mentioned - more out in the sun.

If you would like to see photos of both... go here --- http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e291/makasper/Disney%20Mini%20Golf/

There is a folder for Fantasia & Winter Summerland.... I tried to take photos of each hole on each course!

My DD11 perfers the Winter Summerland mini golf over Fantasia Gardens. I think they are both well themed and enjoyable.

We have done both Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. My DH and DS 13 prefer Fantasia Gardens b/c it is more challenging but the rest of us, DD4, DS 2 & DS 1 prefer Winter Summerland because it is easier and the theming is more fun for them. We usually go to Disney in October so seeing Santa hanging out in the sun is tons of fun for the little ones!

Here is a site with descriptions, prices, etc. There is a number for group events - I wonder if you qualify for a discount. It says that DVC members and Annual Passholders get a discount.

I have never been to Blizzard Beach - are there bus shuttles that go there? or do you need a car?

We always drive, but there are busses that run to the water parks.
