Disney Gallery

What are Disney Gallery Stores, please. I've never heard of them, and yet some lovely B&B pins coming out I'm interested in. TIA

Disney Gallery stores are few and far between but do carry lovely crystal, porcelain, china and great pins, among other things. Several stores have or are closing but there is one that I know of in Natick, MA. The phone number is 508.653.1883. They will gladly ship, for a fee, of course. I shop there often. We have one where I shop in Troy, MI, but I was told yesterday that it is closing on the 12th! They are turning it into a Disney Home store, with sheets and stuff for kids.

They are also turning our regular DS into a Disney Play store. What is that? The CM didn't seem to have a good handle on it, but assured me I would still be able to buy pins there!

I got the feeling they are doing this with a lot of the Gallery stores - I hope I'm wrong.

The disney play store is coming here to NJ too. There was a gallery store at the Freehold Raceway Mall, but the entire Disney Store closed this week and wont reopen until AFTER Black Friday. They are turning the former gallery into a play zone where kids can run around, have storytime and possibly do dress up games. There will be samples of all the toys to play with (how convienent) and supposedly it will be free, at least that is what a CM there told me. They must really believe that it will bring in sales or they would not risk being closed on Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the holiday season. We will see!

I just found out that my very own DS which I shop in many times per month is...well, WAS a gallery store! They now are turning it into a home store. Sadly, looks like Galleries are soon a thing of the past!
