Need some night scenery advice

I'm going to New York in two weeks!! :cool1: I'm bringing my handy tripod with me, but there won't be trash cans all over like WDW. Any tips for night scenery?

Also - BIG help needed here...I always take the Staton Island Ferry at night to see the Statue of Liberty and the NY skyline at night...it's gorgeous! So how to do I get these shots? The Ferry will be moving...How do I not get the blur? Any tips???

Bring a flash light :sunny:


and some body guards :smokin: :smooth:

seriously one of those small flashlights to help see the camera dials and settings in the dark.
