Disney SINGLES Photo Thread!

As a tie in to the "Any Single Disney Men" thread, this is a place to post your photo and a bit about yourself. All comments would likely be best put on the "single disney men" thread to keep this as just a place to see who we all are. It's always nice to put a face with a name:) Then we don't end up having to scan pages and pages of comments to find photos.

I'll start...

I'm a SWF no children in Cleveland, Ohio. 30 years old, 5'9"1/2 TALL, and still need to lose 30-40 lbs (I have PCOS.. you can look it up on yahoo if you want.. working on wt loss and so far it's working!)... never married.. I stuck my toe into that pool of water and quickly it dried up. Maybe one day I'll find my prince!

OK, I will give it a try - first time trying this, and this is the only photo I have handy right now.

This is me in France last week on top of the Saleve Mountain. Just finished a 7 mile climb, and just a mile to go.

For those of us who are posting challenged, how do you post a photo?

Hi Dave! :)

All you need to do is upload your photo to one of the free image-hosting sites such as PhotoBucket or ImageShack. Then copy the URL for that photo from where you hosted it (this will be more obvious once you're at that step.) When in reply mode here at the board, click on that little mountain picture icon that says "insert image" when you mouseover, paste in the addy for your photo, and that's it!

Now show us that handsome face. :) :)

Oh and for those photo challenged ... The DISboards will also host photos. You can set up a gallery and store photos there. Here is a link to mine Johnfishes photos (http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=64182)

When you upload the picture just open it up and right click it and select properties, Then highlight the address and right click again and select copy. Then come back to the reply to thread where you are writing your post and select the little photo icon below the size box. Then paste the address in the box when you do a preview of your post your photo should appear.

Ok I hope this worked, I followed Johnfish's instructions and I'm hoping it shows up!
This picture was taken 2 weeks ago while in the World.I live in Northern lower Michigan and go to Disney World as much as I can, I grew up 2 hours south of it and so I have always loved it and guess I have a lifetime love for everything about it. I am a southern girl, who just happens to live in MI now for 4 years, because I love the seasons!

Dave,

You have to format the picture like this [img]xxx[img] where xxx is the address for the picture. That should work. I think you selected the insert link icon instead of the insert image icon.

That is how my link is formatted with the [img] on either side of the address. And I got that by selecting the mountain button as someone suggested earlier. :confused3

Just thought I'd post as well. I'm nearly 31, biracial, single mom to 11 year old son. I'm a dental hygienist and an educator. I'm a true Mousehead to the core, but the pic might give you the impression that I prefer Universal. That is not the case however, and my biggest dream is to one day live in Florida and work at Walt Disney World, making other people's dreams come true. Of course, I need to win the lottery first! Can't say as I've ever thought there was a SINGLE man out there for me that could match me in love for Disney, but I'd love God to prove me wrong!

No, we don't necessarily have bitter women on this thread, rather women who can read what others post. If you place yourself on a singles thread (and it's obvious that people on here are looking for others to date) and then choose to pm them, please be aware that most people will look into your past posts to help them figure out the type of person that they're considering talking to. This is really the only way of checking out another person since this isn't a dating site. Many of us have been burned, even from this site, so we can't help but be as cautious as possible.
