Poseidan's Fury change?

I heard they had redone this and in another thread somebody mentioned that they no longer have the surprise ending? Is this right?

To me the surprise ending is how you ended up back in the room you first started out in.

Did they change this part? Because that was one of the coolest things I'd EVER seen before. Please tell me that this wasn't what they were talking about.

Also, how exactly did they change this show? What's different about it since February 2000?
