Chances of free dining in August 07?

I think I am starting to have DH talked into going back next summer if we can get a good deal! :banana: What do you think the chances are of free dining again in August? We went in June this year and had no luck with any discounts except AAA. We go back to school later next year so we could possibly go in August. Any ideas? I'm just so excited DD and I have almost got him convinced. Now if the $$$ comes through!

I just read that visitors from the UK can book free dining for next summer(Aug.-Sept '07). So at this point all we can do is cross our fingers that it will be available to the rest of us.

Although there are no guarantees, I've watched discounts since '03 - there's usually a discount offered starting with travel dates in mid Aug. since it's the beginning of the off season.

Usually, the third Sunday in August is the cut-off point.

That figures! We may still miss it by being too close to our school start date if it isn't until the third weekend. I'm a teacher so I start earlier than students and am not exactly allowed to take off at the beginning of the year for a WDW vacation! I guess we just wait and pray for some type of discount next summer. The free dining just sounded like such a good deal. Here's some pixie dust for all of us wishing to be there in '07! :wizard:

Does anyone know when they started letting you book the free dining this year?
I did hear about it until it was too late and I have talked by best friend into going next year if we can get the free dining. It will be her first time at WDW. I want to make sure I keep on top of it this time.

On the good side, DH and I did get the $64 All Star rate and settled for that :thumbsup2

Yes, I agree, it was April. So guess we have a long wait until April 2007. I'm going anyhow the third week of August and booking BCV/DVC, but will certainly add on a few days of ddp at a resort if the promotion repeats itself.
