Anyone need a ride from MCO?

I'm arriving at 10AM Nov 27 nad flying out 6PM Dec 2. I'm solo and renting a car. If anyone's schedule is close to mine and needs a ride, I'll be happy to take them to any on-property resort (I'll be at OKW).

I am also in the same situation as KarenNY. I'll be arriving at MCO around 2:05pm on the 27th and will be renting a luxurious....Volkswagon or something. :D If anybody needs a ride, please PM me. We can meet by the giant flight/sign thingie in the terminal.

My flight times are pretty close to yours. Only I'm flying both to and from Orlando a day later than you. I have toyed with renting a car, but since I am going solo, the $25 Mears deal is hard to pass up. With the $75 or more that I will save, I can probably take a whole bunch of taxi rides at WDW and still come out ahead. Still, it would be nice to have an automobile...

If I wasn't in such a dang hurry to get to my resort and then catch a taxi to the WL for the Resort-hopping tour, I'd use Mears too. But I can't take any chances.....I'm already missing the WC meet :( so I have to 'hustle' to make it to the Holiday Tour. :rolleyes:

Hey, I'll be more than happy to chauffeur people around if need be. For some reason, I have to have a car at Disney World. It's kind of a security blanket. :rolleyes: Or maybe it's because I rode in busses for 13 years in L.A. Or maybe it's cause I love Steak and Shake ...

And I love Volkswagons by the by. If that black/purple/red/gold Saturn hadn't been screaming "BUY ME," I probably would have wound up with a beetle.

Hey - I have a Purple Saturn and right now it's screaming "FIX ME". The darn trip odometer is broken and I can either attend DIScon or fix it. Guess I don't really need a trip odometer, do I.

Karen, I would love to take you up on your offer! I arrive at about the same time as you. (10:09 am, to be exact) I'll just figure out my ride back to MCO when the time comes! After all, how much can a taxi cost?!? :eek: I hesitate to use Mears to go back because they always pick you up way too early. You have to go by their schedule. I understand that I have to be there early, but not 3 hours early. I'm on flight 675, USAir, out of Allentown, PA. I probably should say that as of right now, that's my flight. They haven't changed that yet. (crossing my fingers REALLY hard) Thank you so much for the offer! This will be great.
Oh, one more thing-I have a giant size suitcase. I hope there's room for it and us! ;)

Hey Secret DIS, what time is your flight arriving on the 24th? My girls and I have ressies w/ Happy and we could fit more. I think I read where you can ride five. Not sure.
