Anybody pre pay more than they need to on a room-only res? $$ is HIGH!

Wow, I just saw the dollar broke 90 cents US yesterday. (Ok, I know it's been close for a while, but that's kind of a psychological break point, you know?) We have a room-only res for Jan/Feb, and we've only paid the one night deposit. I wonder if I could call them up and put, say, another grand down. (11 nts at a mod--that comes out to...about $1800 if we don't get an AP discount at some point.) Feels weird to pay more than I need to, but the amount of interest I'd earn on that in 5 mos is negligible, and it would feel GOOD.

I guess they'd take my money...just feels weird!

Should go call Visa and see what the exchange is today...

We did exactly that this past January...I tried to pay what I could when the rates seemed to be the best...actually made a couple of payments after the deposit and had it paid months before we left...go for it :thumbsup2
