Has anyone been to Futuroscope?

How did you like it, and is it a good day trip from Paris....?

I've been to Futuroscope three times as it's only an hour from my parents house in France. I enjoyed it but thats because I like technology. The rides are good and everytime I've been its never been really busy so theres never much of a queue. If you go when the laser show is on its really good.
Favourite rides? Race of Atlantis - great simulator better (imho) than Star Wars and Dynamic Vienne. And I love walking around the Gardens of Europe.
I've never visited it as a day away from Paris but I believe it's only and hour and a half on the train or something. Look at http://uk.futuroscope.com (its in english)

I've been but must have been about 10 years ago now. I think I was 12 and thought it was a great day. But we were staying in Poitiers (sp?) so it was very near to us.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to do for a day trip from Paris.

Have you been to Parc Asterix? Thats a great day out. Its very close to CDG. We did it last year before our evening flight back home
