In the past I've always brought carry on bags. Well since we will be gone for
almost 2 weeks this time, we will be checking our luggage. So, having never done
curbside check-in, how exactly does it work? Step-by-step. I do know that our airport is
doing curbside check in again for Northwest Airlines.

It's simple really. Just go to the curbside check in podium for your airline, present your luggage, tix or itinerary and ID. Simple.

Skycaps are normally tipped $1-$2 per bag, it's worth it to avoid the long line inside.

So, after I check in curbside I can head straight to the security line? Does curbside give me a boarding pass?

bumping:D because I have an additional question...

When using curbside check-in (post 9/11) can you be dropped off by your husband with the kids and luggage and stay there while he parks?

This is what we did before but I'm afraid they won't let our car stop and unload. I don't know what the "new" rules are. I know about un-attending cars.

I'll be flying out of Logan and the Central parking is a hike to curbside check-in so it kind defeats the purpose...anyone know the procedure?

Thanks!;)
