In many ways I thought the meal was better. I was thoroughly unimpressed with Marakkesh and loved Tangerine. Marrakesh was humid and warm. The food was cold and the menu limited. I have had much, much better Moroccan elsewhere.

Tangerine was an unbelievable counter-service Dining plan value as a combo plate was $14 add a beverage and dessert and you are pulling near $20 for a quick service credit. The tabouli, hummus, salad, even the meat tasted better to me than the lamb and chicken form the "feast combo" at Marrakesh. Make sure you ask for pita instead of the stock rolls if you get a sandwich.

Tangerine is in Morocco WS as well.

I may have to try this one on my next trip, I've never had Morrocan food before (no more than what they may have had that I tried at Boma), but am willing to try it. I'll be trying all new restaurants when we go back.

Thanks for the recommendations. We are always interested in eating at Tangeriene Cafe but always end up dining elsewhere or too full due to snacking. We'll definitely have to try it. We've done the Morocco Resturant twice and IMHO, I think it's one of my least favorites out of the other table services in the World showcase. What's the seating like? We passed by it and it always seems to be busy. Are there enough tables, is it loud?

Thanks for great referral. I couldn't get most of the ADR's we wanted and a good CS will be wonderful.

Agree 100%. If you're going to eat in Morocco, eat at the Tangierine Cafe.

The food is great and it's a counter service. Marrakesh was a waste of a table service credit.

Being a vegetarian, the Tangeriene Cafe has always interested me but I never end up going in! Next time I'm in Epcot, I'll have to try it. I do, however, really enjoy the table service location there. I'm sad that you had a bad experience.

It wasn't a bad experience. Simply, didn't match up to the other TS meals.

The 2-3 times I've eaten Moroccan elsewhere, have been much more authentic.

shhhhh that is supposed to be a secret! If I can not find a free table at Tangerine I know who to blame :teeth:

I agree it is the best counter service place in all of WDW. Yum. Great for vegitarians. And the kids menu is non-ethnic so if you have a Burger only kinda kid, it still works :)

tangerine was fantastic - and completely empty when I was there yesterday at 12:30pm.
