In the past, I've always reserved an intermediate or full-size from National, and in both cases, you just go to the appropriate aisle, hop in a car and go (we're Emerald Aisle members if that makes a difference). This time I got a great rate on a convertible ($490 incl. all taxes etc. for 2 weeks), so we went for it. I don't recall seeing a convertible aisle. Did I just miss it, or do convertible rentals work differently?
Thanks!

There is a convertable aisle. Noticed it on 8/12 when we picked up or EA vehicle (3 monte carlos at 8:45 pm). There were 2 convertables and they both appeared to be volkswagon bugs..... It definately wasn't a PT cruiser or sebring.
Enjoy!

There is definately a convertible aisle.
The only choices I have seen are PT Cruisers and Sebrings.

I would be really suprised to see a bug (I cant picture National spending that much more $$$ for a rental vehicle). Ive noticed Chrysler Sebrings or PT Cruisers . Other possible models would be the Ford Mustang or Toyota Solara (i believe ive only seen those at Hertz)....

I was expecting a Sebring, although when I rented from Dollar in the past I've had a Eclipse convertible (I think they're called Spiders??). Around here rental Mustangs seem pretty common too.
I'll be happy with whatever!
