My resort doesnt have a vcr/dvd player or TV with the hookups :( , but I am taking my portable DVD player for the plane. Do you think this will hook up to my camera so I can view my pics?
I am going to look in my book, but has anyone done this before?

Usually portable dvd players only have video/audio out. Check the manual or look at the dvd player it will say audio/video out either under or above the plugs.

The camera comes with an A/V connector to hook up to tv, so shouldn't that work?

I think the problem will be most portable dvd players are only setup with outputs (rather than inputs). So it can send picture and sound to a TV with the proper input connections.
You'll need to see if your DVD player has any kind of "input" for video and audio. If it does, and the camera connector plugs into it, you may have a shot (but again, I expect most portable dvd's to only have outputs, not inputs).

Yep, I checked. The plugs for the camera need input and the DVD's are output. Bummer! Is there something I can buy to make this work? Plugs that convert??

Not that i know of, but you could always plug your video connector from the camera into the back of the tv in the resort. I would imagine that they have the connectors on the back of the tv and not on the front.

My portable DVD player has inputs, it allows you to hookup video games etc to it, so it's possible yours might.
