This is probably one of my favorites. It is from this past March. We were in the Outerbanks, NC. The water was freezing and it kept rushing around my feet while I was taking pictures. My feet were NUMB by the time I went back to the hotel!!

Tony, good pic mate. Really like the fact that it is different and not a reflection in water. Makes for a more unusual composition, always worth looking out for different surfaces to get a reflection off. Looks like the guy at the end is wondering what on earth you are doing though!;)

Cheers Tony, you're not the only one to think that. Deb's read somewhere that a lot of US towns use it on their postcards even though it is not in the town!

I have an idea for some reflection pictures at the weekend using a glass of beer, no doubt we can try it out (several times)!

Cool, Mickey! Taken at a 300 meet? We've got a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V111 and have attended similar meets here in the UK.

actually it was a car cruise, with all types of cars, they actually shut down the city for 3 hours and have all the cars cruising, I organized a meeting of CHrysler 300Ms, Dodge INtrepids, Dodge MAgnums, and 300s, we had a dozen cars cruise in to the city together, then park together at the show and eventually do the cruise together..it was awesome..

We've often hired 300Ms (and more recently the new 'retro style' 300s) when visiting the US. We love them. The Dodge Magnums are superb cars, too. We don't see too many of either in the UK, but, if we wanted to buy them they would be mega-bucks compared with what you guys pay. :sad2:

tony64, is this more the size you were looking for?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/homerdog/DSC_0008.jpg

When uploading shots to Photobucket, I use Photoshop Elements to re-size the image: Use the menu Image - Resize - Image size - Resolution (set it to 72) - Click the Resample Image and Constrain Proportions boxes - Pixel Dimensions (set to what you require, usually 800 along the longest side) - Click OK.

Then use Save for Web. Doing it this way this ensures that Photobucket won't do any of its own re-sizing, which it will if the file size is over 1MB. Hope that makes sense!

What software are you using to resize your pics? In photoshop I resize to around 850 pixels on the longest side, you also want to have the resolution at around 80, this should then get it to be about the right size.

tony64

Overexposed to lighten the reflection which made the wall white out ( Just good luck). :thumbsup2

Geetey
The more pictures you have in an album the smaller they become. Try starting a new log in and get a new album.

Mommystieg

I have the same problems try deleteing the picture in photobucket if that is where you have it? reload it and reduce it 50 % then refresh your dis page before making it any smaller.

Hope this helps.

Have you got any photo editing software? You should at least have whatever came with your camera, I'd have thought. I did this in Photoshop Elements 3, but any editing software will enable you to straighten shots. I also darkened the highlights a tad, but that's just down to personal taste.
