Brand New Memeber here

Just thought I would write in here now since i officially joined the club yesterday. My wife and I are very excited about being a part of the club. We were a little nervous about weather it would really be worth or while. Only the future will tell. We are hoping these boards will help to educate us about the club so we can take advantage of what it has to offer.

My brother became a member of the DVC about 8 or 9 yrs. ago. I thought it was a great idea immediately. It took aliitle time for my husband to come along. After we had children of our own and realized that an annual trip with children on a plane would not be affordable. We needed something within driving distance--well , at least we can drive to Fla. in a day or so.

Any way, we became members in 1998--what took us so long? We did "shop-around", but always found ourselves comparing every other "vacation Ownership" to DVC. The others came up short. Nothing seemed to have the quality and consistancy and yes, dare I say--the MAGIC of the DVC.

We have never regretted it and in fact with each visit "HOME" we realize this was one of the best things we did for our family. The children love going "HOME" each year and although only 7, 5 and 3, they have great vacation memories and always ask "When can we go back again?".

I hope your family will have as many wonderful--(OK I'l say it) Magical moments as we have. That should be a paid endorsement! (ha! ha!)
