Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that we are having a blast at the POP. It is our first time here and it is almost perfect.

Food Court - great
Pools and chair availability - great
Room (in the 70's) - great
Mousekeeping - great
CM's - great
Buses - hit and miss
Room Noise - fair

The past 2 days has been really good but Animal Kingdom's EMH at night was a total nightmare. The line was so long I couldn't believe it. It was all thru the que and then about another 150 yards beyond. We waited a good 20min or so, only saw one bus and never made it to the chains. We ended up taking the TTC bus and taking a taxi home. We talked to another couple the next day who said it took them 95min to get home - YIKES!! Same was said for Magic Kingdom's EMH morning. We got out there at 7:45am for the bus and didn't even get into Magic Kingdom until 8:50am. Ugh. I normally avoid EMH mornings like the plague but we had ADR's we couldn't miss. We also waited 35min for a bus one afternoon at Magic Kingdom which was tough because dd was SO tired. Other than that the buses have been good but it seems like we are always packed like sardines.

The toilets sound like a rocket is going off and you can definately hear others. It doesn't wake us up but when you are going to sleep it is strange hearing them all. We are facing the lake - thank goodness because you can hear kids running and screaming but not so bad. I could not imagine facing a pool at all.

Mousekeeping and CM's are great. Even with the place being 100% full, it never seems packed anywhere except for the occasional bus line. Pool chairs are always available which is a huge plus for us.

I will update later - we have 6 more days!!!

Sounds great. We'll be there in about 15 hours. Checking into Pop around 5pm on Saturday -- hope it's 99% full when we get there. This will be our 4th stay at POP (even though we're Vacation Club members). For how much time you spend in the room -- can't beat the place.

Have a great rest of the trip.

Did you have any problems checking in - I have heard that all family members need to be present in order to check in. I have a party of four and we all arrive at separate times. Just wondering if you had any problems. Thanks!!

We checked in on the 11th, they never asked to see all members, 2 were sleeping in the kids waiting area with 1 adult. We had 2 parties check in and all they wanted was the one who was paying :rotfl:

Thanks for the info Carrie!! I know each situation can be different but I like hearing whether there has been issues or not!
