No offense to anyone that likes her, but Britney Spears is an oxy-moron. First, in her song Stronger, she's like I'm strong, la dee dee, you can't push me around la la la. Now, she's like I'm a slave for you! I'll do what ever you want me to! Like jumping off a bridge! I mean, she does have some good tunes but it's like the words don't mean anything to her.

nsyncraider--that's the same way I feel. I really don't like her because of the person she turned into (I used to like her when she first came out). But I kinda like some of her songs.

A friend of mine got an advanced copy and she said it was really good so i trusted her judgement.

Ok, this is a far-fetched example, but what ever: I have really messy handwriting. Even though I want to write neat, I can't. You see what I mean? It's like little girls look up to Brittney Spears and they see this girl that can do whatever she wants and acts like a slut. (I think slut is a funny word :D ) anyway, people can't turn on and off whether the like something or not.

I know what you mean Kiki... she's saying all this stuff like "I don't want to be a role model so I don't need to act like one" but she needs to realize that she is one, whether she likes it or not. yeah i want to get her CD....b/c i have a feeling some of it might be good but i dont liek the person she is....i think its really gross to always have your thong showing and stuff of that nature...but she does need to realize shes a role model whether she likes it or not.

I've been avoiding this thread... lol I think that if Britney Spears wanted to change her image than she shoulda done it wayyy differently... that was a good point about the songs Katie (AFgirl). She went from like an innocent schoolgirl to a hardcore umm... well you can fill in the blanks.... Anyways I can't stand her... & I can't stand the slave song cuz the music sounds like there's broken toy in the background. :rolleyes:
