I hope they are not too bad, we are travelling with them in the next few weeks. :guilty:
I have heard alot of positive things about them. We usually travel with Virgin but the price was so good, I thought we would give them a try :confused3

Mytravel are the new name for Airtouts aren't they? I've flown with Airtours about 5-6 times in the past 15-20 years and have had some horrific experiences with them.
I did a cost for us and it came to £850 whereas we paid £1200 for continental flights from bristol. However, you have to pay extra for pre-bookable seats and food etc with mytravel.
Saying that though the premium seats are nice on mytravel but thats an extra £170 though which bumps the price up.
Also, not a fan of Sanford. Fine for arrivals but awful departure lounge. (and with MCO you can check bags in then go back to WDW - Sanford is a fair bit further !)

Having flown all over Europe with work (BA mainly but sometimes others), many holidays with charter airlines etc, I think its fair to say that the legroom on the UK charter airlines like MyTravel is about the worse I've ever experienced.
IMHO, you get much more legroom, better seats, better service with the US scheduled carriers.

Oh I have to say I do agree with you on the leg room, Premier gold is much better and I also wish they flew into Orlando International, I fly a lot with work as well, but unfortunatly its not with BA or better, but one of the cheapy airlines :rotfl2: However I dont think I have had a really bad experience with My Travel/ Airtours, maybe I have been lucky and just thought at that price for a direct flight from a regional airport it was worth a look :thumbsup2 Well my friends were thrilled, I just wish they flew later in the year from Cardiff, but they stop mid October. :thumbsup2
Hope you have a great flight and nice holiday :)

I'm glad it helped someone out! I've never experienced the pleasure of flying locally to the US - would be much less of a palava - I wish they did it more :goodvibes

::yes:: Oh yes! I've heard so many people say the same, I can't believe it wouldn't be worth their while to keep flying all year. Although, with late availability seats being sold off this summer, presumably they have surplus capacity as it is.

Yeh. Gatwick is a right pain to get home from if you've flown back from the US overnight.
Continental fly from Bristol to Orlando (via Newark) now. I'm doing this again this year (as we did last year). Good service.
Living in Newport, Bristol is about the same distance as Cardiff for us...

Mytravel are okay but their seat pitch is only 29"-30". Can put up with it going over but coming back it's a bit of an annoyance. Don't be afraid to ask for a free upgrade, or an extra legroom seat if you haven't got young kids!

We flew MYTravel Premair last week and they were really good.
Especially with all the problems in the airports.
I can't speak about the economy but I would certainly use the premiair again. :goodvibes
