Mickey says HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII....wow the people here....have left manners and brains at home..
some examples...man yelling at 2 young women to MOVE, MOVE NOW, MOVE DOWN to the end of the row....they would have moved in the Little Mermaid show, he just didn't give them a chance, we all had a good laugh over it and felt sorry for his kids...
A man enters the AstroOrbiters line and starts pushing the buttons to go up the elevators to the top deck???? Everyone in line got a huge laugh out of that.Cast member in charge is oblivious.
Then as our group went to board the elevator at the same ride, here come 2 people out of nowhere into the elevator, and I informed them they had to check in with the cast member.
Rode the tamed down Mission Space, green team version. NOT bad at all. We enjoyed it actually, and even though we like the intense version, this one always has a 5 minute wait when we go. We nickname ourselves TEAM WUSS...lol
For all those mug people who debate the slushie can or can not refill with it, you CANNNNNNNNNNN , YES, you may put slushies in your refillable mugs.
As for finger scans, gone to AK 2 times, not scanned either time, green light flashed as tickets went through. MK has only a single finger scan now.
What is with the dog leashes on kids???? I'm sorry, I raised two rambunctious boys and held their hands, didn't need leashes. I can understand maybe the wrist ones but the ones strapped to the kids with their parents yanking back on them???? What is that???????
Many people commenting on that.
Bathrooms, overall dirty..not up to usual par, very shocked.
Cast members good moods, despite the heat. Crowds manageable. Late nights, HAHAHAHA...not too fun.
and the best thing about this trip???
Capt Jack Sparrow in the Pirates, can't get enough of that ride now!
Goodnight all!

I have to say that I find many of the bathrooms dirty and really gross also! I just got back last week and especially in Epcot, the bathrooms were very dirty! I was also shocked! :sad2:

that is very up setting. Disney always had such clean restrooms.
are they laying off staff again? :confused3
generally when I visit the CM who cleans them is either there or arrives shortly.
this is not a good sign at all!!!!
I love the original version of S:M, i definitely want to see the new version of poc

I've always found the bathrooms to be clean as well...what a surprise and disapointment....the one thing I have always LOVED about Disney is their cleanliness and wonderful landscaping around everything....sighhhhhh :confused3 :confused3 :guilty: :furious: :sad2:

There is a companion Restroom right outside the turnstiles at Typhoon Lagoon. I have noticed that someone from custodial comes around every three to four hours. Also it has an emergency supply of toilet paper and paper towels which are accessible to any of us who work in that area in case it does run out between custodial visits.

Gee, Dave...maybe you should try meeting folks at the airport in *Orlando* instead. That way if someone forgets you, you can still have a good vacation.... :cool1:

Funny thing is, he's probably 90 minutes from where I live, I would have let him ride on the luggage rack on my roof,lol....
All the stuff I bought down there though? and 2 teen kids in the back seat, that's the only place anyone would have fit on the way home!
Was a good trip, but like I said, the bathroom's were gross, we started grading them, my son's GF and I, only 1 bathroom rated an A, that was the Pecos Bill Bathroom in MK. NOOOO we don't usually rate them, just got to be a joke after a while.
Rude people were encountered everywhere, but it made for some fun comments from us and a good laugh afterwards!

What makes you think I was not at the Orlando airport? Northworst was offering $115 round trips to see Mickey...just needed a place to stay... :confused3

My DW and I rate bathrooms on a scale of 0-4 monkeys depending on how closely they approximate a visit to the monkey house at an old style zoo.

Oh dear. What a total miscommunication. How sad to be so close to Mickey and yet so far... I probably walked by you in the terminal then, how sad...we'll have to coordinate better next time. :rolleyes1

Thanks so much for your observations. It's a shame that the bathrooms were so bad, they should have staff cleaning them on a regular basis. My wife will be glad to hear about your MS ride on the non-spinning side. She refused to ride the original side with me so maybe I can get her on the other side. :)

normally anywhere you go on Disney Property the bathrooms are spotless and I have seen attendants ready to clean almost everywhere...what a shame if this has changed....maybe some irate Universal punks got in to trash the place so we would move??? HAHAHAHAHA :cool1: :rotfl2: :bounce:

I was shocked, because it wasnt one place it was every bathroom in every park. I know attendance was high and all, but we saw attendants only 2 times the week we were there.
I really like Universal but my heart belongs to Disney. Universal had clean bathrooms but they were packed too. I think the bathroom cleanliness was better at US, I know blasphemy!
I don't know what happened, I told CMs about it when I could and they seemed concerned.
It's just bad when you walk by dozens of stalls before finding one that "will do".
Just not up to Disney par, hopefully it has changed since I was there almost 3 weeks ago.
On another note, Universal no longer had security ?????
Sorry not that Disney really does, to me it's a false sense.
I have yet to see one guard go through someone's bag, they poke around with a pencil type object and say "ok thank you".
But don't get me off on that topic...lol
Back to bathrooms! I'm hoping it's better than it was, would be curious, anyone who has been this week, any change?????
