I have a bottle of "Kalms" tablets - "Relieves periods of worry, irritability, stresses and strains - a traditional natural plant remedy". Quite good for keeping anxiety down (I use them for competition stress, not flight anxiety), but not sure whether they are as strong as the "Rescue Remedy"...
If you did take something like Kalms, you might want to take it for a few days beforehand (so that it had full affect by the time tou fly...).
Best thing is probably to ask your doctor - he can warn you against anything which may react badly for you or in combination with any other medicined you take...
Good luck,

Don't take any medication at all, then you can have a couple of drinks on the plane, that should relax you. :goodvibes

I sometimes use a homeopathic remedy available at Boots and other pharmacies - they are tiny little tables in a little tube. The ones you get for fear and anxiety are called Argent.Nit. They are about £4 for millions of the little things!
However, if you are very bad, I would see your dr to see if he can give you something a bit stronger.
Good luck :goodvibes

Another vote for Kalms here, I take one about an hour before the boarding call and another once I've settled down in my seat on the plane. Always had me pretty calm for the take off.

I tried a herbal spray from boots last year it was about £7 I think it was rubish. This year i am going to the doctors as I don't like flying and now I think I will need something stronger.
