I flew with them a few weeks ago and they were great. Very friendly cabin crew. Leg room was fine (we were in economy) we took or own food and drinks on board which you probably won't beable to do now. Drinks and snacks were readily available throughout the flight.
I was so impressed with them I booked today to fly with them again next year. Only 45 weeks to go!!!
Hope you have a great holiday. :)

We've just booked with them to go next year.
TT's review sounds good, look forward to hearing what you think about them on your return.
Wonder if anybody has got any photos of the seat pitch etc.
Hopefully the restrictions will be lifted by then and we will be able to take our own food and drink on.

I have never flew with them but I will say this much I was really impressed with them over this last week . they had virtually no delays on the glasgow sanford route whereas the other airlines did.
I'm flying with them this Saturday

We had booked to fly with them on 4th October but they cancelled our flights last Friday due to "operational difficulties" - meaning they had not sold enough seats on the plane. They still managed to take the money for our flights - still waiting for it to be refunded! So be aware that they will do this at very short notice.

That's terrible. Have they really cancelled an October flight due to poor sales in August?

We are looking to book with them next August - infact will probably do this today or tomorrow. Thinking of PE or even business as we need the leg room (all 6' + infact DS 14yrs is 6' 5").
Although we live in London we are in Sheffield for a competition just prior to the holiday and have decided that we would drive on up to Glasgow and fly from there instead of going back home and then to Gatwick - and then drive home over two days visiting with friends on the way.

We are flying with them next March and next October. Business Class both times. Excellent because we stay in Glasgow. Great not having to take 2 or 3 flights to get to Orlando.

Great to hear some positive comments as Glasgow would be much better for us than needing 2/3 flights :)

For those flying from Glasgow, I assume you have looked at Direct Holidays? We used them last year mainly for the fact they fly direct. It seemed a good price and we would happily use them again.
Mind you, I haven't looked seriously to see how Globespan's prices compare...maybe there is money to be saved.

I looked at them but Globespan were still cheaper for the flights.

One of the key reasons we chose Globespan is that Direct Holidays would only sell us a 14 day trip. But next time we want to go for 20 days, a duration that is no problem to Globespan.

yo-ho-yo-ho just booked with them for business class for next year - I would also like any views from others that may have already flown with them, but it sounds great.
We flew sunshine first with TCD this year and if it is as good as that then I will be smilling all the way :thumbsup2

We flew from Glasgow with Globespan a few weeks ago and the service was excellent. The crew were the friendliest we've ever had, legroom even in economy was fine, food good and flights on time (even when all other UK flights had 2 hour plus delays). We couldn't fault them and for the price we would fly with them again without hesitation. Have a look at their package prices too, for our dates we could actually have booked a flight and hotel package for less than the flight only price. In the end we paid a bit extra and had a deluxe poolside room in a 4* hotel for around £10 a night. Bargain!

We fly with them in December - business going out and PE coming back. Hopefully somebody will be going before that to give us a review, but if not I'll be more than happy to tell all. ;)
Just got back on Monday, flew PE there and back, excellent service, food good, loads of leg room and no delays :thumbsup2

We are going in Oct 07 PE out and business back - hope they keep going until then!!
Its costing me the same doing that as It would have for Virgin cattle class from LGW and internal down from Edinburgh or Glasgow so I'm well happy as I've never been able to fly direct before as we used to go in the winter.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the flight. We are going PE next September and were keen to find out what the seating layout is? We have 4 children between 10 of us and would like to prebook. Is it a 2 4 2 layout?

We are flying PE outbound in October. I can't be certain but I think the layout is 2-3-2.
