Can you use Disney Visa Rewards

to pay off some of the new Visa Package? I know the deposit has to be on the Visa, but I was wondering about using rewards towards part of the balance. Does anyone know?

I was just wondering the same thing. They didn't tell me that the balance had to be paid with disney visa.

I did for the package I currently have. I booked the free dining package using the visa code this spring (we leave in 2 days). I paid the $200 deposit with my disney visa, as needed. Then when it was time to pay the remaining amount, I logged into the disney website and pulled up my reservation. next to it it said pay balance. I clicked on it and there was a space for you to pay with your disney rewards card. I used my card and paid. Since my balance was only $286, I did not need to use my credit card in addition to the rewards card. There is mention of it on the payment page. I guess the page will come back after it applies the reward money, then tell you what your remaining balance was. I was a little nervous at first, then logged in and all looked great. I logged into my disney reward page and it showed that I paid the disney package with it. So my free dining package for 2 adults, 4 nights at pop and 2 one day tickets, only cost me the original $200 deposit, as I used my free reward money to pay the remaining $286 balance. Pretty good, since we both have AP. Airfare and rental car was our only other expense.

I was told yesterday that the entire vacation had to be paid with the Disney Visa. I put the $200 down and then the balance will have to be paid 45 days out with the Disney Visa. No big deal...heck I'll get an extra 26 points :banana:

I was told today that I could use my Visa Rewards towards the remaining balance.
