I just added the disney Visa code to my existing ressie. After finishing with the agent I checked my-online ressie. It included my discount - however it dropped my insurance.
After 1 and 1/2 hours on the phone with CRO I got it back. Once you change your ressie the insurance is dropped.
Disney's policy is that you can only take insurance with an original ressie. Since I had it on my original they added it back - but it took forever getting it into the system.
So be careful when you change your ressie - make sure it includes everything it did before.
I also thought I was saving $119.00 more.

.
This is only true if you book air with Disney. If it is a package without air, you can add insurance up until final payment or 45 days in advance, whichever comes first.

I do not have air in my package so I do not know if that is correct

If I apply the Disney Visa discount will it effect my ADR that I have scheduled?
Another question, will I need to use my Disney Visa account number if the package is paid in full now?

How did you pay for your package? If you paid the full thing with the disney visa they will just apply the discount- if you paid with another card they would have to refund the money and the whole vacation has to be paid on the disney visa. I had paid just my deposit with another card they had to refund that and put my deposit on my visa and she said the rest has to be paid completely on the visa 45 days in advance.

OK, now I read this again and on Aug 17 this offer is open to the public. Does this mean anyone without Disney Visa can get a discount if you're staying during this period?
