There is a card in the room that says tollfree numbers cost 75 cents for access....my sister just went down and stayed on my points and made a whole bunch of tollfree calls but wasn't charged for access...is this a benefit to members or an oversight?

hi: members staying on points aren't subject to the $ .75 per call charge.

Members are not charged for toll free calls and are only charged 35 cents for local calls.

Which is a good thing, I can recall leaving DXL in years past and having $20 in 1-800 toll calls alone.

I always thought it was illegal to charge for toll free numbers!

Actually the are not charging for the call, they are charging you an access fee. It is a technical loophole.

When I stayed at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, it was $1 per call, toll free or local. They also put another surcharge on if you went over 30 minutes.
