I have read several posts about the Baggallini bags here on the DIS, so I decided to check them out. From the website, they look awesome, and I am thinking of ordering one for our upcoming trip. But first, I was hoping that some of you who are familiar with these bags could help me. I noticed the measurements were 13x10x4. I was just wondering if the bag would be large enough to hold my digital camera. It's one of the larger Kodak Easy Share cameras, which is bigger than most digitals. Taking my camera is the main reason that I want to carry a backpack in. Also, I was thinking that I read somewhere that this bag was water resistant. Is this true? I just want to make sure that my stuff will be safe if we were to get stuck out in the rain.
TIA for any info!

I just got one of these bags and I love it...

As for your camera...unless it is HUGE..it should fit in the large main compartment just fine. My DH will be carrying our video camera in one.

I have the rip stop nylon one..and it is definatly water resistant. I dont think it would fare well during a heavy downpour or a prolonged period of rain, asdn the seams and zipper area could leak, but I think a light rain or under a poncho and it will be just fine.

I can fit my larger camera in the bag without a problem. I also carried 3 full size magazines, a book (larger hardbound book), plus the normal contents of my purse. This bag holds a LOT!!
