We will be at Vero over Thanksgiving and are thowing around the option of eating at a restaurant there or buying a premade dinner from a local grocery store. I read an earlier post that this is recommended over eating at one of the restaurants on site. Does anyone know the names of local grocery stores so I can reserve our family turkey dinner? Our family of five is myself, dh, ds (14), dd (13) and dd (4). I am finding it hard to justify adult prices for my two older kids as they barely eat anything, and my four yr old rarely eats at a restaurant at all.

Thanks, I appreciate all of the help I am getting from these boards as this will be our first trip "home".

I have no knowledge about grocery stores preparing meals but I found this informational site helpful, maybe it will provide some ideas:

Publix grocery stores are the big chain in Florida. I believe their site is Http://www.publix.com Perhaps you can contact someone about the possiblities. Good Luck!

We went to a Winn Dixie while we were there in June. Maybe you could find the phone number for it on line. Sorry I'm not much more help.
