Just had a horrible thought - gonna have to get the Sky + sorted as it will probably clash with 'Maria' and I can't possibly miss that (oh, how sad am I :rotfl: )

I had exactly the same thought but can't possibly get sky+ as I think we watch far too much TV as it is :teeth:

I just had this debate with my karaoke mad friends in the pub tonight, which to watch? :confused3 Still i know it will be X-factor as 2 of my friends are on it, and I don't like the diva behaviour on Maria. Compulsive all the same popcorn::

ariel75, I'm with you. I absolutely love the audition programmes - it is pure train crash TV. :happytv: Not bothered too much about the 'serious' part of the series though - I can take it or leave it. Will be nice to have something to take over from Big Brother.

Sara. :)

sorry to have to break this to you and i know it's not exactly what some people want to hear but after auditioning a year ago i'm very anti-x factor.

I know that I would never be good enough to get past the first round, but please, spare a thought for the people who didn't get through because the people in front of them thought they could get on tv by dressing up and singing dreadfully. Yes it might be funny to watch, but because they went through, someone genuinely talented lost their (i believe rightful) place in round 2.

I love the auditions and am gutted I'll be in Fl when they go through to boot camp, There was a piece in Heat this week about what its really like to audition and I was amazed that hardly anyone gets to sing in front of Sharon, Louis and Simon anyway!

yep....tis true....it would cost them a bomb to hire the three judges for the extra month it takes them to get down to the few people who get to sing in front of them as things stand. I knew I wouldn't be singing in front of 'the big three' but the whole process is a joke. I know it's a tv show and to make it work they have to get the ratings in....and that's why they let the comedy acts through....but at the end of the days it's a talent search, so why let people through with no talent other to make idiots of themselves?

OMG it was hilarious - loved the mad 'Madonna' woman she reminded me of Margarita Pracatan. and the woman who brought her mother in law in. Thought the acapella group who sang 'top of the world' was brilliant and of course the carer Jonathon will go on to the final stages as hes got nice teeth
