Just made OKW requests with Member Services -- good ones?????

Hi everyone! I can't believe our suprise magical trip is almost 2 weeks away! WOW I just am still in shock over #1 even going at such a last minute planning frenzy, and #2 being given points to stay at OKW for free!!! :)

I just phoned in our room requests and I hope they were good ones to make: I asked for #1 Water View, #2 Buildings 13 - 14 or 62-64 and #3 To be on the 2nd floor.

Do those sound good? I'm trying to get a nice location near the busses - yet not be too secluded -- yet have a fantastic water view. I hope I made the right choices and I hope that (since we are actually coming in on T-Giving *day*) that we even stand a chance at getting any of the above!!! Pixie dust and comments appreciated!!! :)

The more specific you are, the less likely you are to receive your desires. We usually ask only for non-smoking and near a specific bus stop. That gives them lots of flexibility. We have had 8 OKW trips and have ALWAYS had a water view. Never requested anything exept non-smoking until recently.

DWM, what size accomodation will you be in? We stayed in a 2BR in bldg 11 (not too far from 13, obviously!) and it backed up to woods. To the left you could see the course in the distance.

We stayed in bldg 63 in a GV this past January. It had a golf view (can't remember what hole that is), but you could see the traffic coming in and out of the resort. It was very peaceful despite that. Both buildings were within walking distance of the HH and main pool.

Hi there, we are going to be staying in a 1 bedroom unit. However, from the map - it looks like buildings 11 -14 and 62-64 have water views?? I really love to look at water so I'm hoping it's just not of a 'golf course' .... hmmm can anyone suggest a good "water view" building??? Thanks.

I still love 18 - but most of the building that have water views also have other views - generally the golf course.

personal experience 18,55,52,40,32. the last few times we have been in 36 and this is more a golf view than a water view.

Best water views as well as sunset views are 19-21. We also like the water views on 45, 46 and 55,56.

I would just say water view as your first choice (after your smoking preference). Some buildings are large and have all types of views depending on the part of the building (golf, water or woods), so I wouldn't too get specific on building #'s. I always request second floor and got it on both of my OKW trips. In alot of the buildings, the view from the first floor is blocked by foilage and I'm also paranoid about someone walking around outside. Third floor is alot of steps, so I think second is perfect. I would leave it as you have it, by the building #'s they know the area you want. Have a great trip!

building 55, unit 5510 right on the water, next to the pool, ice machine, and laundry. It is about as private as it gets. Isn't it great that there are so many choices? Just too bad that there are so few points, at least, at our house.
