View Full Version : Excuse the rant, but I need to get this out...

People in the spotlight have always been scrutinized and looked over with a much more detailed eye than most. They got there through accomplishments of sorts, yet they always find themselves under fire. Any little thing they do wrong is taken under a magnifying glass. And since a virtual world is a reflection of the real world, this of course occurs there as well. VMK created a slogan which, I think, sums it up well. "Be the envy of the kingdom." Part of the object of this game is to buy/trade/collect. Collector's items are no strangers to the Disney empire. VMK just follows the standard set forth by reality.

Many of you know me. And many of you who don't have heard of me. And for those that have neither, my VMK title is LittleDragonErin. What I say next, is not to brag or boast, but to give you a little context of why I'm writing this. I have 2 five star infernos and 2 one star infernos. I have green flips. I have green baggy pants. I have the stitch hat. I have a full sparrow suit. I have 10 rooms which, if I put them together, the value of their contents would equal at least ten more infernos. My friend list is full of people who care nothing for what I just said I have. As a matter of fact, many of them do not even know I have half that stuff. I don't have anybody on my list soley for their name or for what they have or for trades. Everybody on my list is there because I enjoy hanging out with them and doing (for the most part) nothing really.

So where does this become a rant? Right about now. Several months ago, I found myself with 8 infernos on my lanyard. A feat for most people. Unbelievable for some. Impossible for many. And it is this last group which decided to drag me through the mud even though they did not even know me. Heck, most hadn't even seen me in the game. They decided it was easier to say I was a cheater/hacker/fraud/scammer than to go find me and ask how I was able to obtain these infernos. But you know what? I didn't care. They could believe what they wanted. I felt sorry for them, for it showed what kind of people they really were. And in such, why would I want anything to do with them. I do have to thank them however. I gained several new and true friends. Total strangers who I never met defended my name. I would later run into them in the game by chance and we've been friends since.

A month and a half later, I acquired green flips, green baggy pants and got my infernos back up to 8. Now, I'd explain how I accomplish this, but that's not what this is about. I'll briefly say that everything except Stitch and Sparrow, I've acquired through good trading. I simply follow the rules of a good trader. I patiently wait for what I'm looking for to become available. And while waiting I collect. I upgrade what I own from buyables to quest. Quest to rare. Rare to very rare. And when what I'm looking for is up for grabs, I find out what the person trading it wants and adjust my offer accordingly. It is that simple. People say if it's that simple, then why isn't everybody as successful? Well it's because they do not understand the simple concept of reading/listening to what the person wants. And I will go into this more later. As for Stitch and Sparrow, I've booked the trip and I've won the suit from the game. Something any "poor" person can do.

So here I am, bags+inferno+flips+stich and what happens? I'm once again dragged through the mud. And this time there's not just one or two posts on one board...but about 10 across almost every VMK message board there is. Now I'm pretty tough-skinned, but that still hurt like hell. People who never even met me were making me out to be dirt.

I read through these posts. And I began to wonder how they justified their claims. After all, if I was what they claimed, then how do you explain the 15 CL's on my friends list? How do you explain me seeing and talking to at least one staff member every other day without them even raising an eyebrow. Even Phinny herself has quieted people's question of my possessions by answering for me. Yet it continued.

Meanwhile, in the game, I was reported. Then reported again. And then 2 more times. (Did I mention that 2 of these reports were from Community Leaders?) Don't get me wrong. It's always great to be paid a visit from a staff member. But when they come into the room and say, "You've been reported again Little Dragon for stealing." That sort of irks me. Of course they are nice enough to tell me. After all, they could just ignore the false report and I'd never know about it. But they have come to me with the news and follow it with only encouraging words that I have no need to worry and that I should just ignore these people.

Ignore these people...I've tried. But sometimes you just can't ignore the rain that keeps pounding on your roof. Sometimes you have to build a little barrier to protect yourself. And so I did.

But this barrier became the next weapon against me. I tried to be nice and answer everybody's questions, no matter how stupid or rude they may be. But it got overwhelming. So, those that nagged and begged and constantly hounded me were ignored. So now I was not only a thief/scammer/cheater/hacker but mean as well. The latest of course being with my recent search to complete my beta collection. I have specific wants and do not at all enjoy scrolling through post after post of stuff I do not want. And I put specific instructions on what to offer and what not to offer on MY thread. Yet, people offer away without reading. Or they read and ignore (as they've openly admitted). And when I respond in kind, I get the labels.

The whispers. The talk behind my back. Let me just make it clear, I hear what goes on. I have friends. Real friends that don't join the gossip. Friends that are as offended by this as I am. I'm a person. I have feelings. You tell a lie about me, and I get hurt. You want to shoot me down...fine! But how about you stand in front of my face and do it! Why are you people such cowards that you need to make up stories and whisper in dark corners about me?

This is a game. Yes, I am good at getting what I want in this game. I am good because I take time to find out what needs to be done. I don't go around wasting time looking for another target to take pot shots at just because they have more than I do. I don't sit around creating stories about people who are more successful than me. I take charge of my character and do what I can do. So the results have been in my favor thus far. So what?

So here I am. I've laid it all before you. You want to say something, here's your chance. Say it. I am SICK AND TIRED OF THE GOSSIP. I am OVER IT ALL.

The only thing I truly know to say to you is a lot of people in VMK are driven by want of things and not friendship or happy memories. In turn, they get jealous big time. I know it hurts to be talked about, be it in the game or in real life, but, as corny as it may sound, you just have to let it roll off of your back. You worry about it/think about it too much, and you'll make yourself sick. And they'll have won. So, my advice is wear your things proudly, keep your chin up, and keep working towards your goals. And, when you post threads trading for specific things, state in your main post you will not reply to offers that go against what you specifically said you are looking for. Either that or do what I do and say "Thanks, but that's not on my list. Good luck trading!" Yes, people who don't read or deliberately ignore a specific list can be annoying, but I figure if you kill 'em with kindness and proper trading etiquette, maybe it will rub off on them. :lmao:

So, in short: :grouphug: to you.

LittleDragonErin, I can feel for what you are saying. Because I have experienced it. When after two days of Fireworks I went from being a complete loser to having enough points to almost hit the top ten (Before NaviMap, and the new gen Fireworkers that is) a few eyebrows were raised at me, and some harmful things were said. I was told I was a hacker, a cheat, and on another chat board was called a charlatan. I can tell you now, that the six Fireworks Magic pins that sit on my lanyard will never increase. I am not going to get back up and try and get back to where I was. I know what will happen. I am very proud of you for getting back to your feet after all of those insults. Trust me, when it seems like the entire world is facing you down, just PM me and we can talk it over. I have dealt with this in real life, being a straight A student, with an above 100 average total for the year in three of my five regular subjects. People come up to me everyday in real life telling me that I am a cheater, and that I am a liar. I am no such thing, and hate to hear those words. But is that going to stop me from working hard and earning my grades? Never. So take these words and ignore all the bad side of the Infernos and the rare stuff. Take the good side, that being that you are probably the only person who has and will ever have all that awesome stuff.

or find themselves robbed and copied.

I can totally understand, Erin. It's driven me to quit the game. I even went as far as changing the "Ranch" account password to random letters I'll never remeber. This game is no longer fun for me.

Ranch, there is one question I will have to ask you before you leave that might want to make you come back to VMK.

Who will provide great rides and creative games if you leave?

Little dragon, I too know what you mean.

I got my first inferno from yavn, and I TRADED for it. Everyone says I got it for free, I got reported once, I lost 4 friends. Nobody except true friends do believe you.

Heya Little, your good friend hook here. I hear you out, and sorry for what your going through. Yea know, this is a game, people take it a little to serious! Serioulsy people, she has aqquiredd all of these items through good trades, spends alo of time aqquiring these items. Little is on my friends list and i see her on vmk everyday, fixing rooms, making greta quests, playing games, and oputting a smile on everyones face. Please dont look at her and be mean to her behind her back for what she has. She is a nic, genourous person, and your only juding her on the outside and not the inside. I hope what i just wrote will mean something to someone else who reads this and will think differently

Once again little, im sorry for to hear about this. I got your back.

Erin, I have some simple advice for you. Even tho it can be frustrating, just ignore it. Anyone who treats you unfairly for any reason isn't a friend, and that means isn't worth the trouble. Wether its inferno's, BETA, friends lists doesnt really matter.

All that matters is your friends, letting anyone else get under you skin, is allowing that person to win, because thats what they wanted to happen.

its just a game. And your winning ;)

and for anyone else that reads this, your winning too :) seriously, this is a game that is exactly what you make of it. Some choose to collect, some choose to not collect, some just chat, some have no idea why they play. But we are all winning at however we choose to play the game.

GG everyone :)

I am sorry to see that some really great people and friends have to go through things like this on a regular basis. My friends are my friends, not because of who they are or what they have, but how much we enjoy hanging out chatting or playing games with each other.

Both Dragon and Ranch are on my list. They are great people who constantly have to endure the endless questions of "why do you have so many infernos? why are you so rich? give me this...give me that, and so on and so on." People come up to them on a daily basis begging for trades, begging to be friends only based on what they may have. It truly makes me upset at times how much they are badgered by people in the game. I feel for them and often wonder myself how they can stand it.

Unfortunately people will be people. There will always be those who feel they must bad mouth those who have more items or such. There will always be those who are jealous of others. There will always be those who are too lazy to play the games to improve their scores and find it easier to complain about those who do play well. Sadly, they will always be there, not much we can do about them.

Dragon, hang in there. I enjoy our occasional fireworks games together and watching as you knock me off the top of the top ten list at jungle cruise (LOL, jk). Keep ignoring these people. They will always be envious and jealous.

Ranch, I miss you buddy. You need to come back and I hope you do soon.

To everyone else....please stop the madness!!!

Hey girl friend!

When I needed to boost my stitch offer, you were right there to help, without being asked to help. You are fun, funny, and generous and the people who treat you badly aren't worth your attention. They're jealous. I have another friend with a few infernos and people visit her room just to call her "greed i" "step id" and "dumbo" which really hurts her too. It's easy to say ignore it, but I know it's hurtful. People accuse me of cheating on JC - like I would have a clue how to do that!

Chin up! Doc's got your back!

Please don't let nasty people ruin your enjoyment of the game...Yes, it's just a game.

I've been playing VMK since June and I have to say that I have seen lots of this rude behavior during that time. The saddest thing I have seen is the begging and complaining of players that aren't "rich". Its silly actually since for the most part everyone has an equal opportunately to get lots of credits and buy tons of stuff. Yes, not everyone does well in all the mini games, but you can really rack up credits by visiting NPC's, playing music mixes and attempting the mini games. Also, acquiring good rare or hard to find stuff is just a matter of good trades. There's a thread on the trading board that shows this well.

Remember, it's just a game! I'm sure you did nothing wrong, they are just jealous. Ignore them, they are not worth the effort of getting upset.

It never ceases to amaze me how a "simple little game" can be more complicated than real life issues for some people. So many of us use this game as our escape from reality, and right now, reality is pretty darn scary! There is absolutely no reason for the vicious attacks many of you had to endure~and these attacks are becoming more frequent. It is obvious that the novelty of this game has definitely worn off for some because we are seeing their "true colors" come to light. If a person (kid or adult) is this nasty in a game, can you imagine what they must be in real life? Wow! what a sad thought!

I have never met you LittleDragon, but all I can say to you is that I'm sorry this is happening (and unfortunately will continue to happen) in your game. It is easy for me to say to ignore the talk and enjoy your time in vmk, but that's about all we can do. Or do as I like to do when I've encountered someone low on the totem pole of life, take a power walk around the park! It does wonders for your spirit and the amount of calories you burn from all your laughing is great! If you need a walking partner, just let me know and I'll walk with you. But you can reach me at:

Hey!
I have never had the pleasure to know you in vmk, but I have heard your name. :)

You sound like a very mature, well spoken, intelligent, person from what I read in your post.

I could (and I would) go on and on giving you encouraging words such as, "those people are just jealous" etc., etc. However, I know you have already gotten a lot of that here on the board and I am sure your friends on the game give you much kind word...

...All I can say after reading that is congratulations! Congratulations on playing the game and having great items to show for it. Well done. :thumbsup2

Man! Do I hear you! I'll just site one example to keep this as brief as possible. I was in a trade room, minding my own business, just trying to watch the trade movement in the room, when a girl shrieks "Green Flips! Be my friend!". Maybe I got up on the wrong side of the bed, or maybe i had just had my fill already for the morning. But, I simply asked back "You only want to be my friend because of what I have?" Well apparently all i needed to do was give the tiniest reason for the entire full trade room to jump on me and call me names. I stood my ground and eventually a few people came around and apologized. But, I still think it was a fair and honest question and will continue to call people out who see friends are only for what they have and what it can do for them.

And as someone who has successfully traded and retraded about 8 infernos in last 7 months, I can attest to the fact that the best route is to LISTEN to the trader and not waste yours and their time with offers that don't meet their needs. If I don't have something a trader is looking for, I move on. That time would be so much better spent trying to trade the items you have for items you see regularly appearing in peoples wants lists. You and I had a smooth no nonsense trade just yesterday and we both came away happy. Scamming is simply not needed when someone just listens and puts a little work into the game.

Glad someone came out and said it! :)

And Ranch, still very saddened by your departure. :(

It's sad when a game that's supposed to be about fun and the "Disney" spirit turns ugly. I think you are a very generous player. If anyone ever stopped by to play one of your quests, they would see how generous you are.
After all, they could just ignore the false report and I'd never know about it. But they have come to me with the news and follow it with only encouraging words that I have no need to worry and that I should just ignore these people.
How sad that people falsely report you for stealing. You are lucky, however, that staff follows up on it. Many people get the automatic ban from other people's reports.

Actually, I remember reading the saga of a dad trying to get his son back on VMK because another player accused him of scamming. He eventually got back on, but this was after countless messages to the "black hole".

I recognize you from the Dis Boards. I've seen your name in the high scores (which I know you achieved through lots of practice). I've had the pleasure of doing your quest (I really liked the rhyming clues, they were very well done).

In my opinion you're an inspiration. I like to read your tips on playing the mini-games, and now your trade tips. If you were a mean, selfish person you wouldn't take the time to share that kind of information with others. So thank you for sharing, and please continue to do so, I appreciate your advice.

Well let me start by saying.....do you mind passing off an inferno?

Just kidding.

I have to say I feel bad for you and completely understand the jealousy and frustration some may have in causing them to react this way. It is wrong.

Hearing how you go about this, it just shows your intelligence and should prove to people that anything is possible and up for grabs if you put your time and smarts into it. Personally I think a career in real estate or art collection should be your thing. If you can do this on a little game, could you imaging the Millions you can rake in by constantly trading up. The problem with that however is when you are dealing with Money and not Inferno Pins.....well the slander and jealousy just gets worse. Look at Donald Trump.....people love to hate the guy, but it is only because he was smart enough to make good moves in his career and establish wealth. Granted he is a kind of show off and puts himself out there, but the case is similar in some respects.

Anyway I envy your ability to do what you did and will look to you as an inspiration for trying to do the same.

:grouphug: Erin.

Jealousy is, unfortunately, a part of the game. You have to just stand your ground and let the insults go.
I can understand their problems to a point. Hey, I envy you too! But, I would never let it upset me and I would never do anything to be petty. I can freely admit that I'm jealous of what some people have. And these people need to get over their jealousies.
It's a silly game. And as aengus said, it's what you make of it.

These people will also either learn that it's a fact of life that some have more than others. If they can't get over their envies, then they will have a miserable life. And if they want more, they have to work for it.

So,  to my fellow JC high scorer. And keep up your chin. :goodvibes

LittleDragonErin-

VMK is alot like the real world, some people are more concerned about "things" then the relationships and friends they have. I have seen you here and there around the kingdom, and every time you say Hello to me. It really does make my day to be noticed. :) When people start nagging you about what you have just think of the friends you have on your list and off. Think of what you have done for people and remember that you have back up waiting for you when ever you need it. ;)

I don't begrudge you for being able to get more than most VMK players.
Hey, more power to you! I remember months ago when pengin was able
to get tons of stuff, but he also had been able to play during the day,
which many of us can't. (Unless we have a day off of work.)

What really bugs me are the players who feel entitlement that what we
worked hard to earn should go to them for either next to nothing or free.
Anytime a player is asking or begging, I tell them point blank to get their
characters in the mini-games to earn the credits like I do.

These players tend to either curse you out or leave. Good riddance to them.
Jealousy is driving them to be rotten. You have a friend base, so ignore
them. I know that's easier said than done.

I never had a goal to have the most stuff. I made my own goals a little
simpler. I want costumes and pins, basically. Sure, I would want the
quest stuff or maybe some beta, but I'm not driven to get everything.

I'm not much of a trader. I don't know the fine balance of what's fair and
what's taking advantage. That's probably why I don't trade much.

Hey Erin
Seems everything has been said, but I will say that I back you up completely.
Like Briar, I am not much of a trader because I am not very good at it, but as a leader I get the same jealousies from some of the players or the kids that think I have nothing but free stuff to give - lol, or should do their quests for them (Thanks PUSH for telling them to come to leaders!! HAHA, now I have to do all the quests and I *sock* at new pirates and fireworks). I guess my talent is that it is not too difficult for me to let it roll off my back, or hit the ignore button.
Anywho, hang in there, you have done well in this little game and I am glad for you!
BTW, it was nice to finally hang with you in my room a week or 2 ago. Thanks for stopping by! Watching you and meet trading inferno offers was a hoot!

As for Ranch, come back!! Your quests were legendary. I am not sure if there was or is another player who knows VMK as well as you.

Little, I know how you feel to some extent, because of the Sparrow costume I have. But people are jealous and they make themselves feel better by taking it out on innocent people. What those people don't realize is it's a virtual game with real people, with real feelings. You have prospered in this game and Hooray for you! As BriarRosie said, i haven't set high goals for myself. I'm am pretty content with what I have. As far as costumes, rooms, and pins. So just try to keep your head up and ignore those malicious people. :)

Ok.. well, I don't know if this will make you feel any better at all, but I've never heard of you or heard anything bad about you at all! I've been playing the game since beta days so maybe you can take some comfort in the fact that not every single player in VMK knows who you are and thinks bad of you?

Aengus said it best, its a game, and they are after all only pixels. The only thing you have done special is invested your time and some thought into playing the game with strategy. Its nothing that can't be achieved at least to some degree by any player in the game willing to wait, listen and play, just like you have done. Best of luck to you and I hope you will soon be able to ignore the negative and focus on the positive. Sounds like you have a great group of friends to help you do just that. :thumbsup2

I'm not much of a trader. I don't know the fine balance of what's fair and
what's taking advantage. That's probably why I don't trade much.
Ah-ha! So thats how I'm getting such a good deal on those cheetos and superrolls tikis! :rotfl: **

** Sorry about that, it was just an attempt to futher lighten-up the thread... teehee.

One of the infernos that Erin has, she got from me in a more then fair trade.
I got a Stitch set and a few other things to boot for the inferno.
She even traded the actual cards to me too.

Thanks Erin.

Wow.... I never knew a thread could get so depressing...

:grouphug:

Anyway, it's all because of assumption. We assume what we don't know into to something dramatic because our lives are too boring in the real world. Which is why we have taken and the family stuff. Yes, it's extremly annoying and very hard to ignore. But there isn't really any thing to do. We can't slap (not literally) sense into people over VMK's chat abilities. I suggest putting the ignore button on anyone who even suggests that you cheat. If they get your friends to believe what they say, then those aren't true friends. If they constantly talk about you to other people and report you then report them for harassment.

Most of them are kids Ya know, the ones who "didn't see" that you had 'Ask before trade' in your signature until after they sent the trade request.

i must say that i'm very impressed with both your writing styles and attitudes towards people.. i would just like to say that this is the ONLY justified rant i have ever heard.. you absolutely have the right to feel this way, especially since you have worked so hard to attain your VMK goals and achievements.. i know why people do this to you.. it's very simple: Jealousy. People see you walk down main street and say to themselves "self, why can't i be lucky and hard working like her?", but rather than commend you for your achievements, they feel angry at themselves for not pursuing their VMK goals, but for one reason or another take it out on you.. if any of you people are out there reading this, you should be ashamed that you put this woman through hell and back over a virtual GAME!!! that just goes to show what kind of people you are that get so caught up in a game that you ignore all your morals and values and treat this woman how you did.. pathetic :sad2:

At one point yesterday a thought ran through my head... I've pretty much hit a high point in this game and realized I can do almost anything I set out to try and do. So maybe it's time to move on. But I had to leave that message for all those who think they can get away with slamming people behind their back.

Throughout the day I've been hopping back and forth and reading responses to what I wrote. I wasn't expecting anything. As a matter of fact, I was expecting to get responses from those who do have issues with me. But it's been all supportive. And it's made me realize something.

I don't enjoy this game because of my accomplishments. I keep coming back every day for a reason. Yes, I get excited with new stuff. It's that collector in me. But more so, I come back each and every day because of the people who I have met and can now call friends.

We've never met in real life. I have no clue how old the person is on the other end of the screen. I don't know what real world interests they have (other than Disney). Yet, if I can get along with them so well. To laugh and joke and play around. That is what keeps me coming back day after day.

Most of this anger came not from how this affects me, but from how it affects my friends. When they have to hear this stuff, it affects them as much as it does me.

When I say I'm over it, it means that I no longer feel anything for those people I've brought to light in my post. They can continue to be petty and crude. But it matters not to me. I have people to go to who won't be that way. And throughout today, I've found that there are even people I've never met who I can go to without having to change my image.

Why should I change and be what others want me to be? What right do they have to dictate what I am to do with my things? This is me. This is who I am. And this is how I'll stay. Respect that. And then maybe I'll respect you in return.

Live and learn. It's a game. But it also holds some life lessons. This day has taught me that although there is a lot of cruelty in this world, there's much more generosity and support to push back.

A heartfelt thank you to all of you who have shown your support and comments. It gives me hope that VMK isn't such a bad escape from reality after all.

Hope to see you all there...

Dragon, you said that better to yourself than I could have ever tried. Don't be like the crowd and act as though you are one of them. Be who you want to be. Clearly who you want to be is someone who should get respect. You deserve it, you did all the hard work, the trading and the long hours spent on Jungle Cruise practicing to get a high score, akin to my long hours on Fireworks (high score is now 263,548)! No one will ever have quite the ability, nor skill to ever get to where you are. You have learned the one true thing about VMK. It isn't for the stuff, it is for who you meet. I have met lots of great friends on VMK but I have also met a lot of people who tried to take advantage of me when I was just starting out. I got a lot of raised eyebrows and talk behind my back when I was a guest who already had a few of the game's magic pins and all the stuff from the parks. Back when I started, it took about a month or two to become a regular player. In conclusion, I have the utmost respect for you, mastering two of the most challenging games in VMK. But I also have respect for you because you know the both sides of respect. Anyways, if you ever see me on VMK, I'll be glad to put you on my list as a new good friend. :)

As Tigressjewel said, I have not heard of you either. So many times I read these threads and wonder why we can't go back to the "good old days" on the DIS when vmk first started. Fabulous, unselfish people on the DIS began threads for what people wanted. Other DIS went out of their way to gift their fellow DIS friends. Lifelong lasting friendships with players were formed because we found a common interest in Disney. However, somewhere along the way, things got distorted. I think jealousy, greed, and immaturity became common place in threads and posts.

Yesterday I sat in Doc's trade room. I was looking for an extra pirate fire wall to put in my new pirate room. I was reading this thread while in there. People were begging me for trades like crazy. They were offering things of unfair value and I began to think, I might as well just give it away. So I hope all those people who I gifted in her room will remember what was done for them, and return the Disney magic to the game. I couldn't believe all the people in there who had NEVER been gifted in the game before.

I know the green monster overtakes me at times too. I guess with all my rambling, I'm trying to say that I'm sorry greed and jealousy have become so commonplace in the game. The DIS vmk "good old days" are gone. Hopefully we can all do our part in bringing back the magic to dis and vmk. Here's wishing for the magic to move forward in an excellent way. As Bill and Ted said, "Be excellent to each other...

dragon, good friends are always behind you and will always have your back. it's just sad that good, true friends get deleted for not being on for a little while. and even THEN after you deleted them, they still have your back.

:grouphug: Hugs to you, Erin.

(We were traveling yesterday so I'm just now getting caught up on my DIS and found your thread.)

You've got a good head on your shoulders and a great attitude. Don't let the you-know-what's get you down.

There are two options for those playing VMK:

1. Have fun, make friends, learn to enjoy challenges and conquer them yourself.

2. Whine, cry, and wander around trying to beg stuff from those who embrace option #1, grow more jealous and less reasonablee day by day, and make life rotten for yourself and everyone around you.

I'm glad there are so many DISers who are embracing option #1 and supporting each other against all those #2 people!

I feel so embarrassed. :P

I have so many people asking to be on my list. And many of them that I refer to are true friends like many who have posted here. I wish I could add you all and keep you all. I've even gone so far as having a list off the list (a la staff) just because I feel bad when somebody says they asked to be my friend and I couldn't add them at that time. Don't want to forget about them either.

Sorry again for deleting you.

And again...to all of you responding...thanks so very much for your support. It really renews my hope in the goodness of people. :grouphug:

Hey there. I know "of" you from DIS, and just wanted to say that you should ignore those who are giving you a hard time. I know this isn't easy, but there will always be someone (real life or virtual) who will try and bring down others because of all they have. I come back to this game because of my many friends -- I would not enjoy it as much if it weren't for them. :)

Stick with your friends and be strong! Remember...it's not what you have on the outside, it's what you have on the inside that matters...and the same goes for the virtual world as well. :)
