I just got back from vacationing at Universal iStudios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando and I bought some really neat pins, just as good as those from DisneyWorld. Is there a place to trade Universal pins anywhere? I think they're just (if not more) as much of a collectable pin as Disneys. I bought the best Cat in the Hat pin with Thing 1 & 2 that spin around. It's the best, wish I would have bought two of them now!

There's not an organized pin trading event, but if you ask an employee to trade, they will trade with you. H2Ojag did this in August.

I know that you can buy HRH and HRC pins on e-bay! I've just spent mega bucks as my grandson started collecting them when we were there. We especially like the Halloween ones. It does add up fast though! I'd try putting US/IOA in theie search engine and see what you come up with.

Yeah, it down indeed add up, but when you think about it, there could be alot more expensive hobbies! Right? Universal just e-mailed me (I'm nothing if not determined) and said I could call the stores in Orlando and order the pins I want. Gee that would be nice if I rembered all the pins!!! They said they may carry them on their website one day. got the best Cat in the Hat!! Wish I could see the Halloween ones, I bet they're GREAT.

Well, I tried a search on eBay and BidXS using IOA/US, US/IOA, Universal pins and Islands of Adventure and found nothing. Has anyone else had any luck?

Hey, someone on one of the other boards is thinking about starting different pin trading groups other than Disney. Olympic and Nascar, etc. Maybe.....

I just got back from the St. Louis Hard Rock Cafe and bought $38.00 in pins. I have the Breast Cancer Awareness pin, also the Halloween pin. I love 'em. Something different from Disney, something a little more adult:crazy:

Just a heads up on an email I received from Hard Rock concerning sales on merchandise. Here is the link...there are many pins for sale some as cheap as 99 cents!

Hey, I found the HRC site today too!! Still not luck on the Universal things, though. Did find a site with some awesome Coca-Cola pins!! Mostly antique looking and very nice. I aso bought 3 small pins off of E-bay last night. Three beer bottles, Miller, Miller Lite and some other one. Only pd $9.00 with shipping and all.

I went to a site that was posted on these boards called www.cheappins.com and bought a bunch of $2 and $3 pins for my daughters that will be used for trading when we get to the parks next week. They showed up in my mailbox about 5 days after placing the order. The pins that I bought look pretty boring but they are all official and can be traded for any pin which is what we are going to do. What a deal!!
