We have never been to the west coast. I'll be attending a conference in LA in June. Our DD learned her favorite princess, Sleeping Beauty, has her own castle at Disneyland! Is there a Sleeping Beauty "meet & greet", or a Princess meal. Is it worth bringing 4 yo DD cross country to Disneyland, or can she see the same thing at DisneyWorld/FL? Thanks for your help!

I think that Disneyland is the best all-around themed park by Disney, and if you have a chance to bring your 4-yr old, you'd have a great time with her. :)

there is a very nice walk thru ( well it isn't fancy...I just enjoy it ) diorama of the SB story, it takes place inside part of the castle.

Ask any cast member where and when you can see Sleeping Beauty and they'll find out for you. She is cool! She's my favorite too!

Hi! I'm new here and don't want to make any enemies on my very first post, but I was told by a CM that the Sleeping Beauty castle walk through is closed until further notice due to the events on 9/11 :( . I'm sure she'll enjoy meeting Sleeping Beauty though!
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I am not sure if it is closed because of the events of Sept. 11 or not but the castle is on the refurb list, at least it is during our visit (Thanksgiving Weekeend). We did see Sleeping Beauty during our trip in December, in front of the castle, over by Snow Whites Grotto.
