I'm hoping to see the coach firsthand during an upcoming trip to WDW for MNSSHP as I've heard that some people have seen it there.
Does anyone here have pics they would be willing to share & also post about their experiences. DH & I have talked & talked about a vow renewal and will either wait until our 20th or 25th (gulp!). Our 15th anniversary will be next year (5/2/07). Since it will be a big expense, we are really planning ahead.
DS wanted to see some pictures of the coach in case we don't see it during the party. So if anyone has pics to share, I'd love to see them & hear your review. Thanks!

We were having Tea at the Grand Floridian when we saw it for a wedding. Maybe you could check if any weddings scheduled with it during your next trip.

We booked the coach, but since we haven't had our wedding yet I don't have a review. Cherie, how do they handle transportation back to your next destination after the wedding and reception are over? Do you have to use the limo service or do you have to ride with a guest?

Cherie, thanks for sharing :) Could I ask how long you had the coach for and where did you go in it? In your honest opinion, was it worth the $$? I have my heart set on it but Nigel still needs a little more convincing!!
Those are beautiful photo's, would you mind me asking who took them?

Is the coach in DL slightly different to WDW? When we saw it in DL quite a few years ago, it seemed to have green fern and flowers around it, rather than just plain in WDW. Maybe the bride paid extra for floral decs on it?

I was wondering this too. First of all, you get ready in the Bride's Vestibule at the WP, right? So how do they get you somewhere else and then bring you back? Secondly, do you leave in the coach to go to your reception? What if it's at the Y&B Club or somewhere else that would be a little far to go in the coach? Then also, Sajetto's question, how do you get back?

Let me see if I can help with a few of these.
No, you don't get ready in the Bride's Vestibule at the Wedding Pavilion. Due to the close timing of their weddings, Disney doesn't let you move over to the WP until very shortly before your ceremony begins. You get ready either in your hotel room or you can look into the option of reserving space in the GF convention center as a getting ready room.
The last I heard, the coach can only take you between the GF and the WP, so you couldn't ride in it to an Epcot area reception. They just do a "staged" exit after your ceremony where you ride off in the coach then come right back for pictures.
After the reception, you can either use a limo or rent a towncar (one way towncar service is much cheaper).
Hope that helps! :)

I have several pictures of Cindy's coach from my wedding day at my shutterfly address below. To me, it was worth every penny! I felt like a princess or celebrity and enjoyed every minute.

Randy Chapman took the photos. I wasn't going to pay for the Coach, but my mom insisted and paid for it. After it was done, I decided it was SOOOO worth it. I felt like a true disney princess. Little girls (I've never met) were standing around the Coach waving at ME. There were about 50 people gathered around waiting to see who was going to get in it. Yes, totally worth it.

Hope this doesn't sound too selfish, but did having the people around cause any problems - like getting in the way of the photographer? I'd hate to pay all that money and find people getting in the photo's!

I believe at present, the coach will only take you from the GF to the WP.

Ladies  im now sooo confused, was all set in my head for going with the Vintage car but now i ve seen all your pics the Cinderella carriage looks spectacular. I guess if your having a Disney wedding what can be more magical then pulling up in the carriage.
Did anyone feel a little silly in it though or does that moment when your sitting on your seat sweep all your worries a way?
Can someone be so kind as gently breaking the cost of hiring it as im sure its a hard pill to swallow.
Pics wise though im sure its worth every penny/$

According to the website it is $2500. Not sure what that is in pounds.

Personallly, Cindy's coach isn't for me, but I love the vintage Rolls Royce. Again, not economical for just the two of us! I'm trying to cut corners so we'll see...haven't really planned that far. I am thinking it depends on the charter buses -- if there isn't *quite* enough room for everyone, maybe we'll get a limo and have our parents or siblings ride with us. Yes, we may be THAT close, that it's only a few people and we're not planning on a wedding party so otherwise I wasn't planning on a limo. :confused3 But right now I'm just going on a rough guest list -- no invites yet, no rsvp's!

That was what i originally wanted (Vintage Rolls Royce) as i think they re fantastic & i tend to love anything thats vintage or retro ie im mad about the old VW Beetles.
Think we may stick with that option as im not sure if i can justify all that money for Cinderellas Carriage with it being such a short trip . Im sure though if when we go out there for our planning session if i happen to see the Cinderellas carriage i ll want it!!
I think though being logical & $/£ effective id rather spend that money on something both me & my Df can enjoy rather than just me reaping the benefits. Im trying to be sensible, that ll probably go out the window when it comes to booking though :sad2:

Your DH gets to ride in the coach with you back to the GF. So he does get to enjoy it. I rode it from the GF to the WP with my sis and nephew (my dad is deceased). I rode it from the WP to the GF with my DH.
Hope that helps and no, I never felt silly in it.

No. What did cause a problem was that my CM didn't tell the photographer where I was going to be. He was waiting for me to show up and I couldn't find him. We were running late, so he came running when he heard the coach take off. He knew I was in it. He wanted to get photos of me getting in etc, but couldn't. They rushed me into it and I didn't have time to tell Randy. Miscommunication big time.

Now That makes a bit of a difference as it would be something we d both get to experience. Showed my Df pics of C's carriage last night, think he was impressed however not broke the cost to him yet.
Thanks for letting me know that info Cherie, im easily swayed when given new ideas & suggestions. Cindys carriage may very well have to go down as a possibility on my ever growing list now :woohoo:
