Just Back...thanks To All The Brits!

Just arrived back home from another wonderful trip to Universal! Loved all the usual stuff, Spider-Man, Suess Landing, E.T., MIB, Halloween Horror Nights, etc. but I was most appreciative of all the British travelers at the park this year. The recent terrorist acts haven't frightened away our friends from across the Atlantic! In fact, I swear there were more visitors this October than last. Some of the lines were heavy (especially Spidey). It almost felt like a trip to Universal Britain than Universal Florida!! Anyway, thanks to all you UK visitors for standing by our side and showing your defiance during this unusual time!!

P.S. The Hard Rock Hotel was great, really paid off with the Universal Express ride access feature!!

The Brits and their neighbors were at the parks in full force when we were there last week! So much so I thought there were some air travel specials going on or maybe it's a UK vacation week.

Actually for some of us it was half term, a school holiday so many of us 'Brit' take our holidays then:) Also there have been some great deals for us just lately which some of us are taking advantage of.

Just got back last night. We noticed the same thing, especially at WDW. The crowds were definitely thinner than usual for this time of year, but the Brits were in full force!

My wife and I were planning a trip to London in May of 2002 before the events of 9-11, we'll have to repay the favor!! :)
