OK, we have finally decided that we are going to fly....now all of the new hassles to go with that! Do you stop and pick up perishable food on the way (milk, bananas) or do you have it delivered? Please give be pros and cons for each and if you have it delivered, who delivers it? How do they keep the milk cold? thanks!!!!

We have never done the delivery thing but if you do a search on wegoshop (http://www.wegoshop.com) or gardengrocer (http://www.gardengrocer.com/) you'll come up with a lot of posts I bet. GG is a Dis official sponsor and it seems a lot of people hear on the boards have used and love them.

We usually rent a car and will either stop somewhere on the way or make a trip the next day - it really depends on our energy level when we finally arrive at MCO (traveling x-country makes for a long day). When staying at The Boardwalk in the past, they have stored our perishables in the fridge near the lobby (they just check the stuff in with your luggage) until our room was ready. I'm not sure if other resorts offer this service as BWV is a DVC resort so it might be different. Definitely check with the hotel first...although I'm sure you'll get lots more advice here.

hth!
