We got the letter about reduced financing for a 50 point or more purchase. DH said "yes I saw it, and NO."
We have enough points for a week in a 2BR every other summer at BWV (160), and then in the odd years for 5 days (Sunday, Thursday) in a 2BR at VWL. Just 75 more VWL points would give us those weekend days.
We are making a short holiday trip next month. I'm going to make a huge point of going to WL since their decorations are on my top 3 to see list. Perhaps the Disney magic will bite DH and I'll be able to get those points! (If I could use MB it wouldn't hurt either, wonder if that and the low rates can be used together).
Those points would also help me get that 2004 cruise without as much cash!:rolleyes: Here's hoping!

you won't hear any arguments from me! i'm kind of torn between a contract at vwl, but i want to wait for bcv; maybe i'll just get a third contract at bwv. we'll have to see how our finances hold out. good luck on your plan! if i know i'll have to work overtime, i usually budget that "extra" money for something special. would that work for you?

Dh and I have been tossing around an add on at VWL for a while now. Yes we will, no not now... you know how that goes. Anyway...we decided today that we will call our guide tomorrow and get all the pertinent info...MB details, financing, etc. and whether we can wait until Nov. 23rd when we are there or if they will be sold out by then. Once we have that info then we can decide how many points we want to add on.

Right now we have 250 at BWV, but would really like to do a small add on at VWL, maybe 70 or 75 to use every third year or something like that. And it would help out with the cruise too!

Oh no...only 18 days left...I better start packing!! LOL :D

We got a letter, too, so I called. We currently have a contract for VWL, but we definitely should have more points. We only need another 50 points (well, okay, that's what DH says, I'd like more), so we'd still pay the $75/pt. we paid for our original purchase. I'm not sure whether or not we'll make the move now, but I'm hoping...
