After many months of waiting, AAA finally released their rates for 2007 two days ago. Unfortunately during my stay, Jan 16-Mar 1, 07 the only discount that was available today was for after Feb 15. Incidently that is peak president day time. Oh well, guess I'll just have to be happy to keep my value rate for the entire stay. Will keep hoping for a season passholder discount . Thanks for listening to me vent! ;)

I just booked for 1/23-1/31 and got a AAA discount, but that was for the cabins. Are you going to be camping or cabin?

I called today and got my AAA discount for our march 2007 stay, I'm busy trying to figure out exactly what I saved, my rate is 88.31 a nite including taxes after AAA rate, that seems so high, but I reserved a prefered site, if that makes that big of a differents. If I had someone to keep my dog, I would just stay at one of the AlStars and save myself the hassle. pirate:

According to mousesavers.com, peak season starts feb 15, and there are no FW discounts available (but I don't know if that has been verified)

Before that, for the first part of your stay, it's value season and should be 20% off campsites.

Maybe they can break up your reservation to get you that discount?

I'm going March 17, 2007, I wonder why my rates so high ?It's Peak season and the rack rate is $85/night. Looks like there is some kind of AAA discount. Maybe 10%?

Were you charged for insurance?

I called yesterday and got the AAA rate for Oct. 07. But, in sympathy with the OP, I was never able to get AAA for our stay this past Jan., depsite calling the first day they were relased and many days thereafter. I was told several times that they were never released for the campsites for January. Whether that was true or not I'm not sure, but it might explain why Jan. is not coming up for you if they didn't release it for Jan. next year.
