September is only 3 weeks away, and the APH rates are still higher than the AAA rates. This is new. And, a bit surprising as September tends to be low season. It was dead last September when we went. :confused3 Wonder when (or more importantly) if they'll lower the APH rates?

Also, did anyone notice that if you book online and enter only 1 adult, you retrieve a higher room rate than if you entered 2 adults? Or was this just me?

Guess what.. same thing happened for August... I have been waiting and waiting for the AP rates to drop below the AAA rates.. and it ain't happenin'! I even went so far as to call and complain... saying that why do AP holders not get a better rate than the AAA holders... at first the supervisor was trying to tell me that I was incorrect.. and that the AP rates were NOT higher.. but when she looked into it further she saw that I was right.. She had no explanation.. nor solution.. but I tried. I actually went and signed up for AAA so that I could get the better rate... it was worth it for me.... When I get to the hotel.. I will tell them again... I just dont think it's right... It's just the point.... Good luck with yours.. but... I wouldn't be surprised if things don't change....

It seems that lately the AAA rate is very similar, if not better than the APH & FLO rates. It makes no sense to me that guests booking the AAA rate gets Loew's 1st perks & credit for their stay, but those booking the APH/FLO rates don't. :confused3

There are a few dates where there are some good rates. The night of the 10th Sept at PBH came out at $159.20 and the 9th was $186 with aph, but not the other hotels. Sorry, only looked at those two nights.

I was also wondering when or if rates will go down
for aph , just playing with a few dates (17th-22nd sept.)
the hrh is 149.00 and the rpr is 179.00. I always thought that
the hrh had a higher rate than rpr, these were both for a std room.

I guess you have to keep checking on a daily basis......
