I need some help and thought my friends in the DDA might be able to.

I am already hard a work (well, it really isn't that hard) designing door signs for our Cruise in March. I have more to do as DMil is coming and now we have two cabins.

My problem right now is with the fonts I have for one of my Pirate Night signs. I am not thrilled with it, DW doesn't like it, but will accept if if we can't find a different one. Does anybody have a good Pirate Font they would like to share with me? Or direct me to a place I can download from? My oher little problem is that I have an iMac and most of the sites I find only speak Windows. I downloaded a couple of great looking fonts today, only to find that they weren't usable in my Font book.

Here is the sign as I have it now. The Font I am using for the Headline is the one in question. The other font looks even worse in a headline.

You might try a search for JSL Ancient, Alanapapa. Although I have the PC True Type font, I understand there is a Mac version of the font, too. Don't remember the name of the site, but a google search should turn up a source.
I've used it successfully for a pirate sign and it looks reasonably 'accurate' -- er, 'atmospheric'.

Okay; I did a little research myself and here is the link (if I have enough posts to be allowed to post links yet) to the font in both TrueType and Adobe Type 1 [http://www.shipbrook.com/jeff/typograf.html]

If the link is deleted, just PM me and I'll send it to you.

I think I have been using Storybook with my pirate things.
