Entertainment Coupon for Avis ???

Can someone tell me if any of the Avis coupons can be used for minivans, or are the limits up to full size only?? With three weeks to go, we have invited my in-laws. We had/have a great rate thru National for nine days, but with 7 of us we prefer a minivan. Given we arrive on Thanksgiving day, the discounts are limited. For all nine days, we are looking at the best rate of approx $430, all in, versus our $160 Emerald Aisle rate (Disney Club and coupon). In-laws plan to share this expense, but a penny saved is a penny earned. Your thoughts please!

some are upgrades and some include minivans. It depends upon the coupon and the discount you want.

The coupons in my 2002 entertainment book specifically state they are only good for up to a full-size car. I don't know, however, about the ones in the 2001 book. Some of the coupons in the entertainment book for National do apply for minivans but not all of them.

We are facing the same issue you are concerning a minivan for our trip in March. We could really use a minivan with 4 adults and a toddler for the stroller etc. but paying an extra $250 seems so extreme. We are considering renting 2 full-size cars with National since it would still be cheaper but of course you must then have 2 people willing to drive.

OOPS - sorry you are absolutley correct. I looked quickly at the coupon and mistook "minimum" for minivan. Sorry about that. Thanks sleeping..
